TRAVEL TO MOVIES: STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS

Director: J. J. Abrams
Cast: Harrison Ford , Carrie Fisher , Mark Hamill , John Boyega , Domhnall Gleeson , Oscar Isaac , Andy Serkis , Max von Sydow , Daisy Ridley , Adam Driver , Lupita Nyong'o , Anthony Daniels , Gwendoline Christie , Peter Mayhew , Kenny Baker
Plot: The film is a continuation of the saga first created by George Lucas, set 30 years after the events in "Return Of The Jedi" where Darth Vader had been defeated. It features a mix of the original stars of the franchise along with a new batch of young actors.

My Movie Review: The movie is the most anticipated movie of 2015 and the long wait is over as expected ruled cinemas around the world in United States, Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines to name few claimed the top spot at weekend box office December 17-20. This film is a testament to the saying "save the best for last" as this is the last Hollywood movie shown in the Philippines until Metro Manila Film Fest were Hollywood films on hiatus Some critics were so critical in reviewing this movie but for it's easy I'm satisfied surely the force is strong and awaken the Star Wars phenomenon once again I went home enjoying.
My Favorite Character: Finn

Finn was a human male who served as a First Order Stormtrooper, designation FN-2187 and known to his fellow soldiers as Eight-Seven. He was considered one of the group's best stormtroopers before he deserted to join the Resistance in their struggle against the First Order. He took on the name "Finn" at the suggestion of Resistance pilot Poe Dameron, based on his stormtrooper designation, having never been given an actual name. After leaving the First Order, he briefly wielded the lightsaber that once belonged to Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker.

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: CREED

Director: Ryan Coogler
Cast: Sylvester Stallone , Michael B. Jordan , Tessa Thompson , Graham McTavish
Plot: The film follows Adonis Johnson Creed - the son of Rocky Balboa's late friend and former rival Apollo Creed - who travels to Philadelphia to find Rocky and requests for the former World Heavyweight champion to train him into becoming a world-class boxer.

My Movie Review: The movie is all about reliving the legend and making your own legacy despite of the let downs outside the ring. It's not your average boxing film that focuses on the sport only this one is deeper beyond the story. This movie belongs to the stellar raging Sylvester Stallone who find new side of Rocky Balboa passing his throne on Apollo Creed son played by Michael B.Jordan that delivers believable performance and lock-out punch!
My Favorite Lines: "Time takes everybody out; time's undefeated." "One step. One punch. One round at a time!" "You see this guy here? That's the toughest opponent you're ever going to have to face. I believe that's true in the ring, and I think that's true in life. Now show me something." "I can train at your house. No I don't know nobody's been to my house in a long time you might be uncomfortable there. What, do you walk around naked?" Hey don't you want this? It's on this. What if you lose it? It's already in the cloud."

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: KRAMPUS

Director: Michael Dougherty
Cast: Adam Scott , Toni Collette , Allison Tolman , David Koechner , Emjay Anthony
Plot: When Max's dysfunctional family fights over the holidays, he becomes disappointed and turns his back on Christmas. But his lack of festive spirit has angered Krampus, a beast-like creature with demonic appearance who punishes non-believers of Christmas the total opposite of Santa Claus.

My Movie Review: The movie is clever giving different kind of emotion to feel this holiday spirit. One of the best horror comedy I've seen it's entertainingly smart giving spot-on genuine scares and lessons to be learn. It's not your typical Christmas film somehow take refreshing look to see a pitch of terror extending the Halloween fest without losing it's wholesome vibe. Truly is the most wonderful time of the year to have fun and watch family movies like this giving heart-felt story despite of the twisted monstrous content to look out.
My Favorite Character: Krampus

Based on Austro-Bavarian German-speaking Alpine folklore, Krampus is a horned, anthropomorphic figure who, during the Christmas season, punishes children who have misbehaved, in contrast with Saint Nicholas, who rewards the well-behaved with gifts. Regions in Austria feature similar figures and, more widely, Krampus is one of a number of Companions of Saint Nicholas in regions of Europe. The origin of the figure is still unclear.

My Movie Review: The movie is so fun cool for young ones especially when you watch it with your friends. Sure this is like other zombie movies but sometimes all we need was good times to spend after a long day from school or work. TRAVEL TO MOVIES: THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART-2

Director: Francis Lawrence
Cast: Jennifer Lawrence , Josh Hutcherson , Liam Hemsworth , Donald Sutherland , Woody Harrelson , Elizabeth Banks , Julianne Moore , Natalie Dormer , Sam Claflin
Plot: Katniss Everdeen now fully realises that the stakes are no longer just for survival, they are for the future. However, Katniss goes off mission, using the unit from District 13 and risking their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow.

My Movie Review: The movie is not epic I hate to say this but it's really disappointing so little fight scene total let-down from we're expecting. I thought Mockingjay Part-1 was bad going in it's dark phase and Mockingjay Part-2 will lift it up but not so many blackout scene it totally drag it down. It is only a must this series will close it's chapter cause it takes wrong turn. The Hunger Games and Catching Fire were so good that deserves credit doe.
My Favorite Character: Finnick Odair

Finnick Odair was a male victor from District 4. He was known for winning the 65th Hunger Games at the age 14 and was later one of the survivors of the 3rd Quarter Quell. He was the husband of Annie Cresta and father of their son. Finnick died during the second rebellion. While on the mission to President Snow's mansion, the group was attacked by lizard-human muttations. After everyone had made it up from the tunnel; Katniss heard someone yell. She shined the flashlight down and saw Finnick fighting with the mutts. While fighting off the mutts, Finnick's head was bitten off before Katniss could rescue him.

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: SPECTRE

Director: Sam Mendes
Cast: Daniel Craig , Christoph Waltz , Ralph Fiennes , Dave Bautista , Andrew Scott , Ben Whishaw , Monica Bellucci , Léa Seydoux , Naomie Harris , Jesper Christensen
Plot: While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre. Spectre stands for "Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion", a global terrorist organization that plays a major role in the Bond stories.

My Movie Review: The movie is grand delivering a sophisticated style in telling the story without losing it's iconic touch. The first scene in Mexico City was the best Bond opening I've seen as far as I can remember it was festive and lively showing the artistic side of the dead through their make-up masks and costumes. Writing's On The Wall makes it more compelling Sam Smith's voice was so dramatic you will feel the mood rapidly changing. It was a great experience despite of the unlikely turns towards the end it brings possibilities.
My Favorite Lines: "I always knew death would wear a familiar face, but not yours." "You are a kite dancing in a hurricane, Mr. Bond!" "Welcome James, it's been a long time!" "And finally, here we are!" "It was me, James. The author of all your pain!" "Is this really what you want? Living in the shadows? Hunting, being hunted? Always alone? I don't stop to think about it." "So what's going on, James? They say you're finished. And what do you think? I think you're just getting started." "If you don't leave now, we'll die together, Mr.?" "Bond. James Bond."

The Venetian Golden Hallway
It was a grand hallway and all you could see was gold. The way the building was lighted complemented the beauty of the paintings and the murals in the area. The paintings were beautiful and the ambiance was a feast for the eyes. To think this was still the first stop of the day. You will feel like a rich hot shot because your walking along this beautiful hallway.

My Movie Review: The movie is amazing comedy horror filled with spooky fun adventures and surprising twist perfect for young and old audience. Whether your fan of the book series or not I'm sure you'll going to enjoy this movie cause it's spontaneous and never runs out of interesting things to show. I'm not actually familiar with the book series since I don't read much that's why I'm so excited to see this movie monsters pop out to the book.
My Favorite Character: Slappy the Dummy

Slappy the Dummy is a villain in the Goosebumps series. He is the star of the the Night of the Living Dummy saga, and appears in many of the other books, usually as a main character and antagonist of the titular story and series. Slappy is a ventriloquist's dummy that comes to life when the words "Karru Marri Odonna Loma Molonu Karrano" are read aloud. TRAVEL TO PLACES: MACAU THE VENETIAN ST. MARK'S SQUARE

My Personal Experience: I went to The Venetian Macau last year November 26, 2014, together with my sister and her boyfriend. We went there to see the Shoppes at the St. Mark Square and explore each part of the hotel. We felt the winter vibe seeing the polar bear on top of a block of ice and walking through the stars felt like being on Walk of Fame.

The Venetian St. Mark's Square
Few cities, ancient or modern, can claim such distinctive and historically important icons and constructions in such a relatively small area as can Venice, Italy with its St. Mark’s Square. And the most remarkable and noteworthy sights of Venice - the Bridge of Sighs, the Campanile Tower, the Rialto Bridge, the Doge’s Palace are replete with intricate and fascinating details that tell the proud story of this ancient site of art, learning, and trade.

Source: http://movies.insing.com/movie/the-last-witch-hunter-2015/id-86e80000/

My Movie Review: The movie is majestic despite of the flaws and weird set-up still worth your time. The Last Witch Hunter may get sequel to build up what's lacking in this movie that excites not too literal. Supernatural adventure set in modern day is one of my favorite genre that's why I'm tough in critiquing them I expected more than the usual. But there some parts that amazes me like the magic spells and how fun to see witches getting killed.
My Favorite Character: Witch Queen

The Witch Queen is the main antagonist of the 2015 supernatural action film The Last Witch Hunter. She was the absolute ruler of the witches who cursed the warrior Kaulder with immortality before seemingly being defeated. She is portrayed by Julie Engelbrecht. Years later, the 36th Dolan was going to retire from the Axe and Cross, but he was found in a comatose state. It was revealed that a shape-shifter by the name of Ellic was cursed him and that was apart of a bigger conspiracy that aspired to resurrect the Witch Queen.
