TRAVEL TO PLACES: PHILIPPINES-- BAD BIRD VS. THE BEEF

My Personal Experience: I went to Bad Bird at Hole In The Wall last year November 28, 2016, together with my sister, my brother-in-law and his brother. We went there to order their basic staple chicken and burgers. My sister and I went to the Bad Bird Stall since I'm craving from some juicy tender chicken while the brother's prefer the burgers at The Beef!

Hole In The Wall is a modern and upscale food hall built for ‘good food gatherings’. One of the popular brand was Bad Bird which specializes in fried chicken flavored with umami spices served with some Japanese & Korean inspired sides. Popular sides include their spiced fried rice and corn. Umami is actually Japanese for ‘pleasant savory taste’ widely coined as the 5th taste (with salty, sweet, sour and bitter) because of its unique attributes!

My Movie Review: The movie is a futuristic spectacle that shows what a mind can create! Ghost In The Shell is a slick live-action that tackle on the cybernetic world in modern time. It gives us a peak on how advertising should look with the 3D effect in the tallest buildings! Scarlett Johansson is superb in this film giving us better, stronger, faster cinematic cyborg. Finding your inner soul is hard but Major found her ghost and break barriers in her shell. But I have to admit I lost focus thinking of something but got back hearing the final pieces.

You are the first of your kind, but you are not invulnerable." "Maybe next time you can design me better." "Everyone around me they feel connected to something but I'm not." My Personal Experience: I went to Hole In The Wall found at Century City Mall last year November 28, 2016, together with my sister, my brother-in-law and his brother. We went there to have some brunch since we're meeting in Makati. This is my first time eating there some of the staff were rude looking from head to toe but its cool vibe help me settle down.

It's tempting to call the place a food court, but it's more than just that. Hole in the Wall is a food hall that may resemble a theme park. One area resembles an idyllic summer camp, while another is decorated with urban art. The biggest one is airy at night, gorgeously illuminated by fairy lights. Hole in the Wall is definitely quite the hidden gem. It's a gastronomic paradise with 11 stalls, and a wonderland filled with all sorts of eclectic and quirky furnishings – all located on the top floor of the futuristic-looking – Century City Mall.

My Movie Review: The movie is critics choice everything I read were all positive reviews! Get Out is surprise hit tacking the horror genre in a race-savvy satire observing social and cultural state that's a big issue in America. The way things put in perspective about black man facing the parents turned into fear as he discover their twisted psychotic experiment!! The black maid stare and the hypnotism of the mother using a teacup spoon its so creepy! Daniel Kaluuya is spot on his facial expressions and the raw tension such a treat to watch.
My Favorite Lines: "Do they know I'm black? Should they? You might want to, you know." "Mom and dad, my black boyfriend will be coming up this weekend. Ijust don't want you to be shocked that he's a black man." "I ain't never seen you like this before, bro. Meeting families and taking a road trip, don't come back up all bougie, man, come back and got your damn pants up to your damn stomach." "I go do my research, apparently a whole bunch of brothers have been missing this summer. But it's cool. How are you not scared of them, man?" "So how long has this been going on this thing? Do you have off buttons?"

My Personal Experience: I went to the World Of Creepy Crawlies this year February 11, 2017, together with my best friends from college. We went there to see the different kinds of animals found in nature and begin to notice some of the least appreciated creatures! This tour bring back my inner wild child we're trying to find the hidden gem in camouflage:)

My Movie Review: The movie is a high-altitude horror mystery that creeps in a good way. A Cure For Wellness is an extravagant film too mesmerising on the view and too bizarre on the story. One of the best thing I saw in years making it one of my top 5 film of all time!! Everything about it stellar I love each scenes that shows a different kinds and level of fear. Dane DeHaan is someone to watch for his so good in putting himself in a bad place and that's weirdly impressive! This gothic cult-like psychological thriller unfolds like maze turn into impossible to escape!! Gore Verbinski best work keep you guessing until the last shot.

More Description: The "spa concept" is Volmer’s means of not repeating his Baron-era mistakes. Instead of drawing attention by kidnapping people, he’s taking advantage of the existential angst of 21st Century titans of capitalism in order to keep them guzzling (and swimming, bathing, showering and lord knows what else in) the aquifer’s "miracle water" and becoming vitamin-factories willingly as part of the “treatment” they’ve been gaslit into believing they require. Volmer’s mad quest to "cure" his inability at the expense of his victims. The final message of A Cure For Wellness will appear to be: get a second opinion.

My Personal Experience: I went to Amazing Yexel's Museum this year February 11, 2017, together with my best friends from college. We went there to explore the museum and see the toy collection that is buzz the social media. Yexel's Museum attract the group tours in school and the child at heart who likes posting pics online and document their adventures.

What once was just a collection of toys (be it a crazy intense world class collection), has now turned into a full fledged museum!  The Yexel Toy Museum just opened at Manila Ocean Park and to help celebrate the opening are the top cosplayers. Yexel Sebastian started his toy collection when he was 7 years old by collecting small toys from fastfood outlets. Yexel aim for his toy museum is to inspire the Filipino youth to follow their dreams!!

My Movie Review: The movie is a quiet masterpiece that focus on the language of aliens! Arrival is the perfect mixture of great sci-fi story and the nature of human understanding the unknown. It's sound mixing was impeccable creating momentum in the alien crafts that takes my breath away. Amy Adams is in your face great making this science-fiction movie more realistic! The mystery is spot on the symbols forming circles with different meanings! The best in creating tension while taking us through the journey leaving us gasping for air.

More Description: To understand what happened here between Shang and Louise, you will need to understand Predestination paradox and Bootstrap paradox. A predestination paradox occurs when a time traveller is caught in a loop of events that "predestines" or "predates" him or her to travel back in time. Anything that is created within this causal loop is a result of the Bootstrap paradox. My Personal Experience: I went to the Trails To Antarctica this year February 11, 2017, together with my best friends from college. We went there to visit the coldest place in the attractions at Manila Ocean Park. We were shocked as we saw what's inside it was small and short trail with fake snow and lesser photo opportunities in hot crowded full of people.
