TRAVEL TO MOVIES: FIVE FEET APART

Director: Justin Baldoni
Cast: Haley Lu Richardson , Cole Sprouse , Moises Arias , Emily Baldoni , Parminder Nagra , Claire Forlani , Kimberly Hebert Gregory , Sophia Bernard , Gary Weeks , Brett Austin Johnson
Plot: Seventeen-year-old Stella spends most of her time in the hospital as a cystic fibrosis patient. Her life is full of routines, boundaries and self-control -- all of which get put to the test when she meets Will, an impossibly charming teen who has the same illness. There's an instant flirtation, though restrictions dictate that they must maintain a safe distance between them. As their connection intensifies, so does the temptation to throw the rules out the window and embrace that attraction.

My Movie Review: The movie is a sentimental love story that's unafraid to show disorientation with a disease that dictate one's action this one seem conventional until it break its boundaries! Five Feet Apart is morbid hospital romance that's often sweet and sad at the same time but it finds a way to inject humour to our delight this plain sick motion has more than meets the eye:) The second half felt more alive and colourful with unexpected feast that lighten the mood and chivalry of expensive wines and table centrepieces one can feel fancy and royal what a scene!! Climax wasn't bad either the snow ice cold break scene never disappoint emotion run high as she fell into the water all of a sudden at first she's laughing and gone in a split second luckily it wasn't too deep, as the guy she fell in love with reaches his hand and save her from drowning:) Cole Sprouse might be a rookie in the movie industry, yet he manage to pull some heartstrings!

Movie News: The latest brand of young adult romance seems to revel in the bittersweet tragedy of ill teens falling passionately in love. Five years ago, the adaptation of John Green’s “The Fault in Our Stars” gained incredible success. America seems to love watching pixie dream girls and brooding bad boys share tragic romances. “Five Feet Apart” is no exception to this trope of precocious teens falling hopelessly in love, but the emotions it evokes are truly raw and beautiful. “Five Feet Apart” is a story about two teens with cystic fibrosis, a chronic illness that causes mucus, sweat and digestive juices to become thick and plug up lungs and passageways. Stella (Haley Lu Richardson) is a perky, bright and tidy 17-year-old who vlogs about her condition that leaves her hospital-bound for long periods. Will (Cole Sprouse) is an angsty, mysterious new resident taking part in a drug trial as their to release depth of disease:)(

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: US

Director: Jordan Peele
Cast: Lupita Nyong'o , Winston Duke , Elisabeth Moss , Shahadi Wright Joseph , Evan Alex , Yahya Abdul-Mateen II , Tim Heidecker , Madison Curry , Nathan Harrington , Napiera Groves
Plot: Accompanied by her cool husband, son and daughter, Adelaide Wilson returns to the beachfront home where she grew up as a child. Haunted by a traumatic experience from the past, Adelaide grows increasingly concerned that something bad is going to happen. Her worst fears soon become a reality when four masked strangers descend upon the house, forcing the Wilsons into a fight for survival. When the masks come off, the family is horrified to learn that each attacker takes the appearance of one of them.

My Movie Review: The movie is terrific symphony of uncanny revelations in one mind's horror! Jordan Peele really dodge a bullet in crafting new world of bizarre thought provoking encounter that make us question few reality and somehow be curious on what's going on to the unknown! Us belongs to the thrill seekers who like to push the boundaries and want to watch clever story with social relevance that expand your intellect also challenge your strength in feeding fantasy! This one trigger emotions on the right places as traumatic experience from the past could still haunt after such long time and being present and alert in times of danger will help you survive:) Lupita Nyong'o showcase a jaw-dropping performance as she plays vulnerable and all out raw its haunting with a perfect mix of humor you'll definitely go nuts and have some heck of a time:) Trailer give us a peak of terror as a whole turn out bigger phenomena ends up with spicy twist to top it all doppelgängers really surprised you don't know what they will do next make it fresh:)

Movie News: Jordan Peele’s “Us” Is a Colossal Cinematic Achievement in a work of directorial virtuosity, Lupita Nyong’o plays a middle-class mother and doppelgänger in plot with graphic, psychological resonance. The success of Jordan Peele’s 2017 first film, “Get Out,” bought him time, he said, in a recent interview with Le Monde for his new film, “Us,” he had twice as many shoot days. The expanded time frame allowed him to produce a work of expanded ambition! Peele reaches deep into the symbolic of pop culture to discover a hidden, implicit history that he brings to the fore, at a moment of growing recognition that the deeds of the past still rage with silent and devastating force in the present time. It dramatizes this world, but with a twist one that avoiding spoilers risks overturning conventional values and sympathies with ecstatic fervor. Suffice it to say that “Us” reserves empathy for unwitting villains while gleefully deriding the comfortably normal state of obliviousness and the ordinary absurdities of the world at large!

My Movie Review: The movie is extraterrestrial self made adventure that expand its universe:) Captain Marvel is a winning combination of space fantasy and 90's action flick with slick look back on the era where things aren't quite as it seems and the inevitable future it holds together! The stater wows with vivid look to the present future world of the hero leading to its origin story that shape and mold her as a person when she fall all over again she stands up even stronger! Not only for the message it bring its how they show it that make great the back and forth to the past maybe little bit confusing but this is how modern storytelling goes as long as you grasp it:) Brie Larson may come as plain and safe choice at first yet surpasses expectations in action as Binary she turned turbo super sonic fast powerful, that's unstoppable and might defeat Thanos! Goose the cat is another surprise come off as cute until it open mouth big time such a savage:)

Critics Consensus: Packed with action, humor, and visual thrills, Captain Marvel introduces the MCU's latest hero with an origin story that makes effective use of the franchise's signature formula. Does it work? The short answer is: yes. There's enough to keep both diehard Marvel fans and the newcomers engaged. Superhero cinema has lectured us, ad infinitum, on the responsibility that is conferred by extraordinary gifts. Praise be to Larson, for reminding us that they can be bringers of fun. Captain Marvel almost has it all: excitement, wit, plot twists, multi-faceted villains and stunning visual effects. What it doesn't have is the gravitas of a Wonder Woman. Ignore those imbecilic MRAs, frightened fanboys, and all other insecure man-babies shellacked in misogyny: The truth is that this film is reams of fun and, significantly, no different in quality from past solo superhero flicks made, another star is glowing in the Marvel Universe:)

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: ESCAPE ROOM

Director: Adam Robitel
Cast: Taylor Russell , Logan Miller , Jay Ellis , Tyler Labine , Deborah Ann Woll , Nik Dodani , Jessica Sutton , Yorick Van Wageningen , Bart Fouche , Russell Crous , Cornelius Geaney Jr.
Plot: Six adventurous strangers travel to a mysterious building to experience the escape room -- a game where players compete to solve a series of puzzles to win $10,000. What starts out as seemingly innocent fun soon turns into a living nightmare as the four men and two women discover each room is an elaborate trap that's part of a sadistic game of life or death must play.

My Movie Review: The movie is splatter of adrenaline starts strong left us feel claustrophobia! Escape Room is a modern take on jigsaw puzzle films with series of clues to solve and survive in time yet this time more challenging act and less predictable others might felt disappointment with their unreasonable high standards but I'm deeply satisfied and exceeded my expectations! The leads started weak and come off as less part of the pack turns out their stronger than your perception on them with good teaser at the first scene you thought wrong and must watch out:) Nik Dodani and Jay Ellis standout in very different reasons one with too much familiarity on the game while the other one in his physical attributes with his strong build and statue brawn body! The future of this film might not be realize with low ratings and mixed reviews but if someone put an effort in pursuing a sequel I will definitely see it I enjoy every bit as it end with possibility!

Critics Consensus: A welcome addition to the small sub-genre of horror films where people don't act stupidly under extreme duress. Escape Room fails to unlock much of the potential in, what's left is still tense and thrilling enough to offer a passing diversion for suspense fans. A cutthroat little thriller that's surely more fun than most of the riddle-solving lock-ins currently springing up around the country. During the final half hour, everything that's compelling about this low-budget thriller collapses in a miasma of idiocy. Robitel does get credit for laying out an impressive set piece acts one and two that make you eager to play this game again. I was surprise how engage I became in the story and the characters, you'll be wondering what they need to do to escape each room. Nifty, nasty high-concept horror, with dabs of Saw and Final Destination. Escape Room a perfect film? Hardly but delivers on what thriller should deliver on!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: HAPPY DEATH DAY 2U

Director: Christopher Landon
Cast: Jessica Rothe , Israel Broussard , Phi Vu , Suraj Sharma , Sarah Yarkin , Steve Zissis , Ruby Modine , Rachel Matthews , Charles Aitken , Jayson Bayle , Laura Clifton , Missy Yager
Plot: Collegian Tree Gelbman wakes up in horror to learn that she's stuck in a parallel universe. Her boyfriend Carter is now with someone else, and her friends and fellow students seem to be completely different versions of themselves. When Tree discovers that Carter's roommate has been altering time, she finds herself once again the target of a masked killer. When the psychopath starts to go after her inner circle, Tree soon realizes that she must die over and over again to save everyone.

My Movie Review: The movie is over-stuff load of fun and suspense to kill slapstick boredom)( Happy Death Day 2U is inevitable since the first one made funny slasher film's huge comeback yet this time is more playful expanding with new twists like time loops and different dimensions! It's also genre smashing the usual comedy horror is mocking with all repeated scenes more funnier because of creative and intentional ways to die yet woke up in world where her mother comes back make it drama mystery choosing not to loose her again while learning formula to operate the machine makes this a sci-fi adventure when they try to solve problems teaming up! Phi Vu takes the first take to a new level of familiarity showing different point of view in dejavu:) Israel Broussard remain the cool steady guy whatever dimension his in its the people around change his situation whether a boyfriend eye candy, schoolmate or friend whose willing to help! Jessica Rothe undeniable wit and uncompromising performance makes this worth celebrating:)

Other's Review: The hilarious Happy Death Day 2U finally knows what kind of horror it wants to be the slasher sequel is silly as hell. Happy Death Day 2U is peppered with familiar faces from the first, including the killer’s crooked-toothed baby mask, but somewhere between stab wounds and happy-birthday ringtones, the franchise becomes the romp it secretly wanted to the whole time. The sequel picks up with Ryan (Phi Vu), tertiary character from the first movie, who’s experiencing his own loop. Tree (Jessica Rothe) may know what he’s going through, but Ryan knows physics experiment gone wrong. Tree back into the same damn birthday loop with minor changes. Now she’s in an alternate reality, where her mother is alive, but her paramour Carter (Israel Broussard) dates Danielle (Rachel Matthews), persnickety leader of her sorority. Happy Death Day 2U is sturdier movie the trappings of horror are still there the knife-wielding killer, emerging from darkness but overall the tone is action-comedy, with a smattering of sci-fi:)
