TRAVEL TO PLACES: STARBUCKS DOMICILLO TAGAYTAY

My Personal Experience: I went to Starbucks Domicillo Tagaytay this year August 11, 2019, together with my brother, sister and her husband. We went there to visit this famous cafe shop! Starbucks in Tagaytay has the most beautiful set-up and scenery that's why is a must to visit:) Domicillo Branch entrance is quite far and not noticeable guess gem's are hidden in plain sight!

Starbucks Domicillo Tagaytay
Starbucks has lots of pretty branches in the city, but their newest branch at Domicillo Design Hotel takes the cake for one, it has unobstructed, magnificent view of the Taal Volcano. There are lots of things to do in Tagaytay: You could go for bulalo and tawilis or try new grub, you can go see beautiful churches, or you go on a glamping trip. Or you can simply sit back and relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy the picturesque view. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls ensure that you can see the view wherever you are seated. Plus, aside from the scenery, the cafĂ© itself is eye-candy. Inside the light-wood decor, pastel accents, and couches give the branch a homey vibe!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: FORD V FERRARI

Director: James Mangold
Cast: Matt Damon , Christian Bale , Jon Bernthal , Caitriona Balfe , Josh Lucas , Tracy Letts , Noah Jupe , Remo Girone , Ray McKinnon , JJ Feild , Wyatt Nash , Ian Harding , Rudolf Martin
Plot: Academy Award-winners Matt Damon and Christian Bale star in FORD v FERRARI, based on the remarkable true story of the visionary American car designer Carroll Shelby (Damon) and the fearless British-born driver Ken Miles (Bale), who together battled corporate interference, the laws of physics, and their own personal demons to build a revolutionary race car for Ford Motor Company and take on the dominating race cars of Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.

My Movie Review: The movie is overrated pretty decent for motor racing drama just okay not that great I don't know why critics really like it maybe they couldn't find any flaw but that doesn't mean its a great movie for its a bit dull' plain and basic what you see what you get kinda movie! Ford V Ferrari is an old fashion man's man film about building the fastest car in that era pretty much a good time to seat back relax and enjoy the ride cause you will not notice and track time cause you'll focus once the race starts that was good about it- entertaining biopic take as well:) Christian Bale is strange because he wears a lot of faces and many characters made me think I don't really know this actor based on this feature his very persistent and goal oriented heroin:) Matt Damon is very charismatic as always at least the familiarity with this actor make this film a home-run with his surprising dirty tricks on the opposing team in between the racing event as much friendship his shown in the end there's not much take away when you leave the theaters!

Movie News: Review: Ford V Ferrari Is An Instant Best Picture Contender! One of the year’s top awards contenders raced into theaters full throttle this weekend, as Disney-Fox’s Ford v Ferrari scored the top spot at the box office and a rare perfect grade from audiences. With a likely $30+ million domestic bow, Ford v Ferrari also earned a remarkable A+ grade from audiences via Cinemascore. Ford v Ferrari received overwhelmingly positive critical reception, with a 92% score at Rotten Tomatoes reflecting not just universal recommendation but outright stellar acclaim. When audiences and critics all love a film this much and it opens at the top of box office charts, that’s positive reviews matter most, combining audience recommendations to become “everyone says it’s great” must-see viewing. Mangold’s teaming with Oscar winners Matt Damon and Christian Bale is generating plenty of award season buzz, looks to be shoo-in for some acting nomination, screenplay, director and nod for cinematography and Best Picture!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: COUNTDOWN

Director: Justin Dec
Cast: Elizabeth Lail , Talitha Eliana Bateman , Jordan Calloway , Peter Facinelli , P.J. Byrne , Anne Winters , Tom Segura , Charlie McDermott , Tichina Arnold , Dillon Lane , Matt Letscher
Plot: When a nurse downloads an app that claims to predict the moment a person will die, it tells her she only has three days to live. With the clock ticking and a figure haunting her, she must find a way to save her life before time runs out.

My Movie Review: The movie is supernatural horror about an app that tell's you when you die! Countdown is a rare sighting its based on modern society and how easy it is to get pressured into doing something you don’t want do like downloading an app that's why I give a time to see! Yet I arrived in theater 15 minutes late so I didn't see all I rush into the cinema because horror flick like this get remove quickly and replace for 3 days by another film like see it fast or never:( But now that I watched it for some reason this movie is still showing in the theater near me I felt a bit cheated if only I knew watch it in more convenient time I'd like to see it from the start:( Its not that bad film a couple of good scenes that make you jump and decent pacing worth a watch but ultimately underwhelming- so what's funny it gets angry if you try avoiding your fate:) Countdown can never be taken seriously enough to work as a conventional horror thriller but it got enough eccentricity and self-awareness to entertain despite high concept film deficiencies:)

Critics Consensus: Countdown may offer a few fleeting jolts for horror fans with barren queues, but it lacks enough wit or creativity to leave a lasting impression. As proven by Mary Elizabeth Winstead in Final Destination 3 or the spunky Jessica Rothe in Happy Death Day, these fate-driven, high-concept horror flicks can be redeemed by a committed performance. Countdown's Elizabeth Lail joins their company. Its influences are obvious, but that hardly matters, when the film deftly delivers the scares. This isn't a subtle, moody film filled with a sense of unease; instead, jump scares are around every corner. If that's all you want from a horror movie, you'll have very good time and elevated heart rate for its speedy 90 minutes! Countdown is just above the usual "rent-em-and-forget-em" horror fare out there. Yet another example of a high-concept idea that doesn't deliver enough of the goods. Nothing really makes sense, even by the movie's own crazed rules with uninspired ending adding further resignation!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: DOCTOR SLEEP

Director: Mike Flanagan
Cast: Ewan McGregor , Rebecca Ferguson , Kyliegh Curran , Cliff Curtis , Zahn McClarnon , Bruce Greenwood , Carl Lumbly , Alex Essoe , Roger Dale Floyd , Violet McGraw , Met Clark
Plot: "Doctor Sleep" is the continuation of Danny Torrance's story 40 years after the terrifying events of Stephen King's The Shining. Still irrevocably scarred by the trauma he endured as a child at the Overlook, Dan Torrance has fought to find some semblance of peace. But that peace is shattered when he encounters Abra, a courageous teenager with her own powerful extrasensory gift, known as the "shine." Instinctively recognizing that Dan shares her power, Abra has sought him out, desperate for his help against the merciless Rose the Hat and her followers, The True Knot, who feed off the shine of innocents in their quest for immortality. Forming an unlikely alliance, Dan and Abra engage in a brutal life-or-death battle with Rose. Abra's innocence and fearless embrace of her shine compel Dan to call upon his own powers as never before-at once facing his fears and reawakening the ghosts of the past. Back to the Overlook Hotel when he was a child Dan Torrance remains traumatized by the sinister events:0

My Movie Review: The movie is a psychological horror sequel to the cult classic-The Shining!! Doctor Sleep is actually not scary as expected I felt more intrigue than fright with new elements shown by cult known as The True Knot who prey on children with powers to remain immortal or suck off the shine until left no life and back to the Overlook Hotel brings little bit hype nostalgia! Love the innovation and elevation of the scenes they come up fresh and sight to behold as the journey unfolds tricks and psychic abilities strengthen and on the final act- graphic images pop! One thing I don't like was the lady in the bathtub gross that's what I wanna forget after seeing the original now they bring her back multiple times just keep strolling the hall go to other room's with unexplained reason I love seeing little Danny on his bike and blood flowing in the elevator! Rose The Hat stole the show every time she was on the screen she dominated it until the final act that’s where the film seems most unsure of itself ending things in unspectacular fashion so bad took the spark away not to be mistaken this film shine just thought it would be more shiner!

Metacritic Reviews: Doctor Sleep is a monumental sequel achievement of tension, suspense, forgiveness and sacrifice I’m not soon to forget. In addition to the excellent acting and well-written characters, Doctor Sleep is a delightful visual trip through a hellish winter wonderland. A fun thriller, built well in the King-verse. Hope we see more who shine. Loved the book, movie was good too. The best thing about Flanagan’s film by some stretch is the work by Rebecca Ferguson. The director of Gerald’s Game and Hush proves again to be very capable filmmaker when it comes to directing actresses, getting Ferguson’s career-best work to date. For all the fresh originality of the first half, why do we have to retread Kubrick’s film again? Leashing the film adaptation so closely to Kubrick’s film is a missed opportunity for this story to realize the full mystical potential promised. Probably one of the best sequels I have ever seen. Great story line and wonderful acting. Newcomer Kyliegh Curran's performance was spectacular! Not sure who are giving bad reviews I liked that the story was a bit different its worth the time to go see:)

TRAVEL TO PLACES: PHILIPPINES-- TAGAYTAY CITY

My Personal Experience: I went to Tagaytay City impart Cavite this year August 11, 2019, together with my brother, sister and her husband. We went there to visit the site and view land property their selling to my brother. It's like a farmland so spacious and the climate pretty cool along the way I stop by when there's opportunity to capture every spot in this wondrous place:0

Tagaytay City
The place, with its wide expanse of forests, made it a perfect sanctuary and pursuit place for the Katipuneros. Because of that, the Katipuneros used to call the place as “Mananagaytay” which traversing the ridges of Tagaytay. On June 21, 1938, Tagaytay became a chartered city with the passage and signing by the late President Manuel L. Quezon of Commonwealth Act No. 338, a bill authored by Rep. Justiniano S. Montano. Tagaytay City is a component city in the province of Cavite, Philippines. It is considered as one of the country’s most popular tourist destination due to its cool climate. The city overlooks the Taal Lake in Batangas and gives one of the iconic views of the Philippines. The city lies along Tagaytay Ridge, a ridge stretching about 32 kilometres (20 mi) from Mount Batulao in the west to Mount Sungay (now People’s Park in the Sky) in the east with elevations averaging about 610 metres (2,000 ft) above sea level. TRAVEL TO MOVIES: TERMINATOR: DARK FATE

Director: Tim Miller
Cast: Arnold Schwarzenegger , Linda Hamilton , Mackenzie Davis , Gabriel Luna , Brett Azar , Natalia Reyes , Diego Boneta , Fraser James , Enrique Arce , Nick Wittman , Mario de la Rosa
Plot: More than two decades have passed since Sarah Connor prevented Judgment Day, changed the future, and re-wrote the fate of the human race. Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) is living a simple life in Mexico City with her brother (Diego Boneta) and father when a highly advanced and deadly new Terminator - a Rev-9 (Gabriel Luna) - travels back through time to hunt and kill her. Dani's survival depends on her joining forces with two warriors: Grace (Mackenzie Davis), an enhanced super-soldier from the future, and a battle-hardened Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). As the Rev-9 ruthlessly destroys everything and everyone in its path on the hunt for Dani, the three are led to a T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from Sarah's past that may be their last best hope.

My Movie Review: The movie is a solid sci-fi action that takes the story to another alternative:) Terminator: Dark Fate is re-branding the franchise focusing on strong bad ass women to lead the path and take control in the fight against the new slick Rev-9 Terminator to save the future:) Mackenzie Davis is front lining the first half as bad ass protector from the future looks tough as perfect for the role she produce great fight scenes from the bad guy they are running in glance! Linda Hamilton drop the mic when she shut fire to ruthless machine on the urge to attack and returned with such strong restrain to kill the Terminator responsible in losing her son years ago! Gabriel Luna is getting a lot of exposure as the main villain those head shots in close up make someone to stardom with his lean slick figure and emotionless face to match robotic presence!! Arnold Schwarzenegger the OG Terminator is still standing in everyone’s favorite time-traveling killer-android franchise but now in sideline or more on supporting role to give way to new blood Natalia Reyes is getting that lead to fight for future and giving some latin vibe to the franchise:0

Critics Consensus: Terminator: Dark Fate represents a significant upgrade over its immediate predecessors, even if it lacks the thrilling firepower of the franchise's best installments. It's not overly sentimental but Dark Fate succinctly links up to [James] Cameron's early films, without getting bogged down in what actually happens in this new alternate future. An actor's age is irrelevant. What matters is that you have compelling characters performed well, which is why Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger carry this film. Ultimately, Dark Fate is nothing more than a run-duck-and-repeat production- an extraordinarily familiar, efficiently made, exercise in Terminatorology. Director Tim Miller has hit a reset button, and he finds just the right mix of action, suspense and, when needed, old-school comic relief. It's a fine Terminator film, but nothing special. Reyes and Davis make fantastic additions Davis, resembling a young Robin Wright, flinging open the door to a promising career. This sixth installment puts the third, fourth, fifth to shame. Anticipating each updated Terminator is like waiting for the new iPhone:)(
