My Movie Review: The movie is off the hook needs to resuscitate cause we don't have much time to wait for the big explosions very dull over-plotted buries the intrigue with too much detail! Black Beach is an action-adventure that booms in the middle with bombs has lot of casualty the moment you hear Carlos say he need your help know the person he'll ask will end up dead! Are they really important what's in those documents? How do the characters really know each other? What's the relationship between them? A lot of questions arise while watching this and at some points as if the movie just jumps from one location to the other usual in the same shot! The more you dwell on it the more you appreciate it even if it's a flawed movie you will treasure those moments that kept you in awe it looks good but could have been better if you know what direction it's going and what expect clarity on the resolution should have been a game charger!
Movie News: I’ll say this alright up front here: Netflix movie Black Beach demands close attention, for better or worse. It’s a dense Spanish thriller directed by Esteban Crespo and starring Raul Arevalo that puts its protagonist in a number of sticky predicaments and then through the wringer, and asks its audience to keep up. It’s a big ask, maybe, but at least it’s not Tenet, right? Whether it’s worth the effort of leaning toward the screen and listening intently and not being spoon-fed things and keeping all the characters straight? Carlos is tasked with traveling to an unspecified African country to help negotiate the release of a kidnapped man who’s an engineer for an American oil company. Carlos is chosen for this job because he used to live in Unspecified African Country, and he knows some people. If he makes sure everything goes smoothly, he’ll become partner at the firm, Ominous Music at approximately level 6.3, just enough to unsettle but not enough to really guide our emotions. Carlos arrives in Africa and starts pushing through set piece after set piece, ranging from a massive party thrown by the president’s son and featuring a live giraffe indoors hideout deep in the jungle to a human-rights nightmare of a prison to clusters of run-down tin shacks, it's probably more work than it's worth!
