My Movie Review: The movie is a literal spectacle those visuals are feast in the eyes and set the bar high in terms of continuous grand fight' scene much better than expected so good view! The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity is such a surprise didn't see it coming until it open up its own world to you as immerse with this epic fantasy the end result gonna to hit you different:) It's confusing in the beginning but if you watch such Chinese costumes dramas regularly, you'd understand that it's a normal thing to have the story a bit confusing in the beginning, but just watch them close without missing any details because it will be most explained toward the end! The plot was packed and tightly connected, the CGI, costume design, architectural structures stunning, the actors and their characters were well shaped its just amazing especially love the dialogues and interactions between Qingming and Boya it's exactly like the yin and yang they complement each other kudos to all who contributed to this movie a total success although out!
Critic Reviews: The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity" has many of the faults of the (Chinese) fantasy blockbuster, but in the end emerges as a worthy effort at genre cinema, particularly because it manages to do what it promise from the beginning: to entertain. Matters aren't helped by the fact that not a lot happens during the long two hours plus running time, and while the film isn't particularly dull, it's surprisingly uneventful. It's not thrilling, not romantic and lacking either, not much fun at all. The film plays like a live-action take on historical martial arts comics; characters bicker and pout, make impassioned vows of love, loyalty or revenge, but not much actually happens. Violence, suicide in confusing Chinese action-fantasy. For something so grandiose, The Yin-Yang Master: Dream Of Eternity does not have a re-watch value despite the production efforts. The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity is going to hit you with some high-flying fantasy epic concepts. Different 29% Tomatometer, 84% Audience Score!
