TRAVEL TO MOVIES: THE JUNGLE BOOK

Director: Jon Favreau
Cast: Ben Kingsley , Scarlett Johansson , Bill Murray , Idris Elba , Christopher Walken
Plot: Mowgli is a man-cub raised by a family of wolves whose friends include a bear named Baloo and a panther by the name of Bagheera. The young boy is forced to flee the only home he's ever known when a fearsome tiger, Shere Khan, goes after him. Accompanied by his friends, Mowgli embarks on a journey of self-discovery.

My Movie Review: The movie is creative usually not my cup of tea since I don't watched much animal stories in big screen but this one change my prospective in viewing pleasure. The jungle is definitely alive in this visual spectacle with bright colors and distinct motions captured right before our eyes. The story gets much more better as it progresses keeping you wanting more with surprises whose animals are nice or wild kind'a tricky but I like that.
My Favorite Character: Raksha- The Mother Wolf

Raksha is a fictional character featured in Rudyard Kipling's Mowgli stories, collected in The Jungle Book and The Second Jungle Book. She is a female Indian wolf, member of the Seeonee pack, who while suckling her own cubs decides also to adopt a human "cub" that her mate Father Wolf has found wandering in the jungle, naming him "Mowgli" (which means "frog" in the Speech of the Jungle) because of his hairlessness.

TRAVEL TO PLACES: MACAU THE FORTRESS ARMOURIAL GATE

My Personal Experience: I went to The Fortress Armourial Gate last November 26, 2014, together with my sister and her husband. We were roaming around The Ruins of Saint Paul's Church until we found the path going to the fortress. This part is full of tall trees and various plants that makes the vibe windy and whimsical perfect for relaxing and reflection.

The Fortress Armourial Gate
The path on the Fortress Armourial Gate is located past the ruins of St. Paul. The fortress is also adjacent to the Macau Museum and has a nice hillside view of Macau's tourist spot. The Armourial Gate is useful to know about mostly because that's where the toilets are located. The fortress on top is rather more impressive but the down hill is still worth a stop.

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

Director: Zack Snyder
Cast: Ben Affleck , Henry Cavill , Jesse Eisenberg , Amy Adams , Laurence Fishburne , Diane Lane , Jeremy Irons , Gal Gadot , Holly Hunter , Michael Shannon , Jena Malone , Jefferey Dean Morgan , Jason Momoa , Ray Fisher , Ezra Miller , Tao Okamoto
Plot: This action-packed film helmed by director Zack Snyder features two big heroes in the lead, namely Batman and Superman. Expect to see a gathering of heroes in this continuation to "Man of Steel". Batman takes on Superman as he fears that Superman's actions are left unchecked. While the two fight each other, Lex Luthor creates a new threat, Doomsday. The two heroes have to set aside their differences and, along with Wonder Woman, stop Metropolis from being destroyed by Lex Luthor and Doomsday.

My Movie Review: The movie is dark indulgently epic where every moment slow motion or fast as bullet scenes keeps you at the edge of your sit. This serves as a teaser on what's coming in the DC Universe over stretching ideas and keeping us excited on what's gonna happen next. Batman V Superman is really worth your time and gave justice to the story. Where you feel grieving but doesn't lose hope cause there's a chance that is not over yet.
My Favorite Lines: "That's how it starts. The fever, the rage, the feeling of powerlessness that turns good men...cruel." "Twenty years in Gotham. How many good guys are left? How many stay that way?" "Do you know the oldest lie in America? It's that power can be innocent." "Man is still good. We break things, tear them down, but we can rebuild. We can be better, we have to be." "The greatest gladiator match in the history of the world, god versus man, day versus night." "Boys! Mmm! Bruce Wayne meets Clark Kent. I love it! I love bringing people together!' "The red capes are coming!" "The red capes are coming!"

TRAVEL TO PLACES: MACAU THE HOLY HOUSE OF MERCY

My Personal Experience: I went to The Holy House Of Mercy last November 26, 2014, together with my sister and her husband. We were passing through the facade of the building when the green vibrant plants caught my eyes. The walls and windows painted all over by white and darker green gave some vibe of sophistication and simplicity with class.

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: THE DIVERGENT SERIES: ALLEGIANT

Director: Robert Schwentke
Cast: Shailene Woodley , Theo James , Ansel Elgort , Ray Stevenson , Bill Skarsgård , Jeff Daniels , Miles Teller , Naomi Watts , Zoe Kravitz , Maggie Q , Octavia Spencer
Plot: The first part of the "Divergent" series conclusion follows Tris as she deals with her discovery of the truth behind the faction system. Tris, along with Four, must escape to find a peaceful solution for their troubled city. The two will leave the city for the first time ever and have to decide who they can trust as a battle begins, with more shocking new truths set to be discovered beyond the walls encircling Chicago.

My Movie Review: The movie is expanding its created universe discovering what's behind the walls how to deal with the new environment and people who operates the experiment. The Divergent Series: Allegiant felt weaker in the box office despite of cool futuristic sets and heightening the intensity of the tale. The orange dystopian land makes the mood right showing beyond expected. Over-all still worthy to see despite of the few similar scenarios.
My Favorite Lines: "For 200 years, the greatest scientific minds have lived here to test the theory. If we can rescue people from a toxic environment and put them in a safe place like Chicago, perhaps they would heal it." "And I am one of those people? You are the only one." "People think walls separate us but they also protect us. Those people out there kept us in a cage for 200 years. That is not someone I want to engage with."Where are we going? Home "When I first found out I was Divergent I never thought it would come to this. I could never imagine that I'd be standing here. It's time to go beyond the wall."

TRAVEL TO PLACES: MACAU SENADO SQUARE MARKET

My Personal Experience: I went to Senado Square Market last November 26, 2014, together with my sister and her husband. We were strolling around the shops until we found the spot to take photos. The captured moments were timeless felt like just yesterday and happened in just a glimpse posting with the crowd focus on us definitely standing out.

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: THE FINEST HOURS

Director: Craig Gillespie
Cast: Chris Pine , Casey Affleck , Ben Foster , Eric Bana , Holiday Grainger , John Ortiz
Plot: Based on a true event in 1952. When one of the worst storms hits the East Coast of New England, an oil tanker off the coast of Cape Cod is damaged and ripped in half. Faced with freezing cold temperature and 70-foot high waves, four members of the Coast Guard take a small boat and set out on a mission to rescue more than 30 stranded sailors that are trapped aboard the rapidly-sinking vessel.

My Movie Review: The movie is floating against all odds the effects were good to see in big screen. Huge waves passed through towards the rescue team but didn't stop them to be heroes of the story that was nearly impossible to be true but brings a lot of aspirations. The Finest Hours really gave me something good that old Hollywood vibe were films have high quality, slow pace living the moment and focuses more on the characters of the story.
My Favorite Lines: "That man in there don't know what he's doing. He's sending you out to die." "In the Coast Guard they say you go out. They don't say you gotta come back in." "You know they're saying it's going to be the biggest storm to hit the east coast." "It's going to be hurricane strength in an hour." "We've got two, three hours and then we sink." Station Chatham do you copy? Condition's hazardous. We've got an 18-foot fracture in our hull. How do you want us to proceed? Over" "That's why I sign up. Now's my chance."
