Director: Jordan Vogt-Roberts
Cast: Tom Hiddleston , Brie Larson , Samuel L. Jackson , John Goodman , Toby Kebbell , Terry Notary , John Ortiz , Tom Wilkinson , John C. Reilly , Corey Hawkins , Jason Mitchell
Plot: A team of explorers discover a treacherous and prehistoric island, where they encounter the gigantic King Kong. They soon realize King Kong is not the only mysterious creature living on the island.
My Movie Review: The movie is the biggest adventure ever with mostly immersive visuals. Kong: Skull Island is such a beautiful film with strong cast put on survival action spectacle. All Hail The King the way Kong was capture show the domination of power in his kingdom. The other monsters were a treat from the deadly creatures like the giant spider, the huge octopus and the nasty skull crawlers to the gentle giants that's pretty good in camouflage. It's a heck of ride when the story takes you somewhere and this one took me to the island.
My Favorite Character: Preston Packard
Preston Packard is the most annoying in this movie but he has the most impact among the human characters. The way Samuel L. Jackson portrayed this role comes with rage. He is United States Army Lieutenant Colonel and leader of the Sky Devil's helicopter squadron, hired to chopper the group of explorers on expedition. Jackson compares his character to Captain Ahab from Moby-Dick, stating, "He does have to exact some measure of revenge for the people he's lost. That's just the nature of how we operate in fights-- eye for an eye!
