Director: Tomas Alfredson
Cast: Michael Fassbender , James D'Arcy , Val Kilmer , Rebecca Ferguson , Toby Jones , Charlotte Gainsbourg , J.K. Simmons , Chloë Sevigny , Jonas Karlsson , Genevieve O'Reilly
Plot: Detective Harry Hole investigates the disappearance of a woman in Oslo, where her pink scarf is found wrapped around an ominous-looking snowman. Fearing it could be the work of a serial killer, Detective Hole studies every clue left behind.

My Movie Review: The movie is less than expected the thrill was not there unlike in the trailer! The Snowman is one of the worst movie this year as it goes on turned to be short of suspense. Michael Fassbender is not to blame why the film sucks it's how the novel played out wrong into this adaption were the serial killer is not as frightening as it seems the kill scenes were cut-off:( It's odd to see this acclaimed detective story set in this icy scenic views fall flat it has so much potential to be great but chose to photograph snow rather than focus on the story construction. Rebecca Ferguson is mystery killed but Val Kilmer and J.K. Simmons role strangely unknown?

More Description: When an elite crime squad's lead detective investigates the disappearance of a victim on the first snow of winter, he fears an elusive serial killer may be active again. With the help of a brilliant recruit, the cop must connect decades-old cold cases to the brutal new one if he hopes to outwit this unthinkable evil before the next snowfall. In the film, a sociopath who calls himself “The Snowman Killer” has targeted the one person for whom he wants to show off his methodical, unthinkable skills. With cunningly simplistic baits or sign such as “Mr. Policeman I gave you all the clues..” he begs to have a worthy opponent to play his sick game.
