Director: Steven Quale
Cast: Sullivan Stapleton , Charlie Bewley , Sylvia Hoeks , J.K. Simmons , Diarmaid Murtagh , Clemens Schick , Alain Blazevic , Dimitri Leonidas , Ewen Bremner , Artjom Gilz , Karim Cherif
Plot: A team of Navy SEALs on assignment in war-torn Europe discover a treasure at the bottom of a lake. In an effort to help the locals and return it to its rightful owners, they are detected by the enemy and left with only 10 hours to carry out their mission.
My Movie Review: The movie is military heist thriller for someone who seek casual adventure! Renegades is impressive in keeping things low key and somewhat unnoticeable in cinemas yet reserve its hidden treasure tale to those who are experimental or just go with the flow viewers:) The underwater scenes were off the roof and enjoyable finding gold bars not easy but worth it once you find it just don't be caught with bad guys who monitor the lake as the tension built-up. Most of the cast are fresh faces and never seen before their young looks like fun to hangout with their hilarious bond in the boot camp and the way they fight end making bigger explosives!
Movie News: This film is rumored to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. In an effort to help the locals, they go rogue and engineer a heist to retrieve the gold and return it to its rightful owners. But in a deadly turn of events, they are detected by the enemy and left with only 10 hours to carry out their mission. The film stars J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) & Sullivan Stapleton (300: Rise of an Empire), is Directed by Steven Quale (Final Destination 5 and Into the Storm) and is an original story written by Luc Besson (Taken, The Warriors Gate and Lucy).
