As Elisa develops a unique bond with her new friend, she soon learns that its fate and very survival lies in the hands of a hostile government agent and a marine biologist.
My Movie Review: The movie is majestic and exquisite in telling a modern fairy tale meets classic monster creature that will stand out beyond expected in a melancholy cinematic world. The Shape Of Water is whimsical vibe this film take of unconventional love story that's unique and crafted with impressive visual detail creating a delightful and impeccable experience!!! Michael Shannon is beast making each scene worthy seeing with his intense performance frightening at most time with those huge eyes his presence can kill a thousand weak soul:( Sally Hawkins is a immaculate as a mute girl it's so fascinating to see her as a lead for the first time as she will around in Hollywood for long time in this flick-- one of the timeless film to date!!
My Favorite Character: The Asset (Doug Jones)
Addressing the physical similarities between the Asset and Abe Sapien, Jones said “Guillermo was very specific, he did not want Abe Sapien in this film at all,” and that del Toro wanted The Shape of Water to stand alone as “its own piece of art”.The Asset has become something of unlikely sex symbol, and was entirely by design. “Note Guillermo gave me, as far as physicality goes, he kept pushing sexy,” Jones said. “This character has to be sexy. When watching the film you have to believe that someone could actually fall in love with him and find him sexy want to take clothes off in The Asset presence according to the talented craftsman -- Del Toro!!
