TRAVEL TO PLACES: PHILIPPINES-- EARLY NIGHT?

My Personal Experience: I went to The Fort Strip Early Night? BGC this year June 15, 2019, together with my best friend. We went there to experience the night life in this part of the Metro! Early Night? has been around in years hence this is the first I hangout here with its vibrant light and awesome crowd this bar is fun' a must-see for the party seekers and night crawlers like us!

Early Night?
Truly, Early Night? is doing it right, being one of the well-loved nightlife spots in the city. A lively spot with neon lights will automatically catch your attention whenever you pass The Fort Strip in Bonifacio Global City at night. According to managing partner Pamela Solilapsi-Guerrero, the spot of Early Night? used to be the second floor of Aracama Restaurant. However, they wanted to twist it up a little bit to meet the demands of the market. Chef Fernando Aracama is the man behind Early Night?’s comfort eats. He’s inspired by the flavors of his cherished home island of Negros, showcasing the best of Filipino cuisine. But, Early Night? is not about eating heavy Filipino meals- its about the street foods that are perfect to pair with any type of alcohol:)

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: HUSTLERS

Director: Lorene Scafaria
Cast: Constance Wu , Jennifer Lopez , Lili Reinhart , Keke Palmer ,Cardi B, Lizzo , Cate Smit , Julia Stiles , Madeline Brewer , Trace Lysette , Mette Towley , Frank Whaley , Brandon Keener
Plot: Working as a stripper to make ends meet, Destiny's life changes forever when she becomes friends with Ramona -- the club's top money earner. Ramona soon shows Destiny how to finagle her way around the wealthy Wall Street clientele who frequent the club. But when the 2008 economic collapse cuts into their profits, the gals and two other dancers devise a daring scheme to take their lives back.

My Movie Review: The movie is provocative showing strippers in a revealing less of an outfits! Hustlers is a fascinating film you will enter their world and somehow forget about yours even in split second make root for them despite wrong doing hoping everything will be fine until its not:) Jennifer Lopez is a show stopper makes you look even further beyond the story I guess that's star quality shine even taking the back seat and putting the spotlight to someone else you rock! Lili Reinhart is more daring than usual makes my attention caught she has such a surplus of charm to spare, its impossible not be smitten by her and the vomiting scenes so spontaneous:) When the women are having fun, so are we, and for the most part, there’s plenty of it to be had but audience in the cinema I've watch mostly shock with the skin shown and how stars expose! The story might end in a less satisfying way yet that's how reality work nowadays conventional and unpredictable- at least journey going there is awesome with cool club vibe and neon lights!

Critics Consensus: Hustlers is a tremendously entertaining film, but it is also deceptively deep, with singles of wisdom slipped under its glittery g-strings. This is a deeply feminist film, one where men are given less screen time than the cameoing Cardi B and Lizzo. Hustlers is nestled in the higher echelon of Scorsese-esque 'I can't believe this actually happened' stories somewhere between I, Tonya, American Made and American Hustle. An immediate entrant into the pantheon of female friendship movies, Hustlers-a pretty much perfect film-makes plain the hollowness of so many other iterations of girl power in studio projects. You can feel its heart beat. Scafaria's film is always a blast to watch, resulting in a surprising level of emotional depth. As good as Lopez and her onscreen accomplice Constance Wu are, they can't act what isn't in the script; other than a dedicated work ethic, we're never given access to their thoughts! Led by a career-best performance from Jennifer Lopez, Hustlers is a uniquely empowering heist drama with depth and intelligence to match' striking visual appeal she's a reason to see it!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: AD ASTRA

Director: James Gray
Cast: Brad Pitt , Tommy Lee Jones , Liv Tyler , Donald Sutherland , Ruth Negga , Loren Dean , John Ortiz , Greg Bryk , Kimberly Elise , Anne Mc Daniels , John Finn , Ran Wei , Ravi Kapoor
Plot: Thirty years ago, Clifford McBride led a voyage into deep space, but the ship and crew were never heard from again. Now his son -- a fearless astronaut -- must embark on a daring mission to Neptune to uncover the truth about his missing father and a mysterious power surge that threatens the stability of the universe. Astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. His journey will uncover secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos.

My Movie Review: The movie is stunning vast feature prove's there are more to see in space:) Ad Astra is a rare interplanetary sighting not to missed it goes beyond what's expected as you immerse yourself to the space it goes deeply to a more personal story about son's longingness for father who left child in years and things unanswered into a voyage far beyond man's reach:) I never thought it would be this great with cinematography that speaks volume to the amount of work they put in and its worthy for in sight to the advancement show you'll never think possible! Welcome To The Moon who knew there's life there as they build impressive set piece that took me by surprise futuristic and battlefield as unauthorized men shoot to kill nice action in space:0 The Red Planet becomes a home-based for astronauts exploration as it continue to amaze me a mayday call add excitement and fear to the unknown as a gorilla burst into the capsule ship:) Another surprise but the exploration doesn't stop as take a quick glimpse of Jupiter and Saturn took place so close on top as sprung of hope pop when we reach The Luminous Blue Neptune!

Movie News: It feels like we’ve been spoiled by space. Ever since Gravity seemingly changed the game, science-fiction has had to work harder than ever to impress us. It’s almost like the genre’s already peaked. As picking up the space-gauntlet, director James Gray quixotically heralded Ad Astra as being “the most realistic depiction of space ever”. And fair dos, this film is beautiful: from the glistening cinematography to artfully celestial framing to the seamless visual effects (some shots use actual photos of the moon’s surface), it all looks real. What sets it apart from recent gravity-defying films, however, is the setting. This is a future that feels recognisably familiar and deeply plausible, a world in which space travel has become commercialised, normalised, and blighted by the same overpriced pillows as the budget airline. The wonder of space has been replaced by the mundanities and conflicts of Earth; the moon is a gaudy tourist trap and disputed territory, not unlike an episode of Futurama. Throughout, we’re drip-fed morsels of information about the new inter-planetary infrastructure and each new revelation is a delicious bit of speculative world-building, ‘sci-future-fact’ rather than sci-fi:0

Dohtonbori is always around us but we usually pass it luckily we went here and discover it's a good place to dine as we remove our shoes and put on a cabinet its such a unique experience!

Dohtonbori Okonomiyaki
Brand Identity: When you think of Dohtonbori, you think of a raccoon dog - our brand mascot. We are keeping the lovableness and playfulness of this one mascot but changing it from the original hand drawn one we have been using to a new simplified mascot logo. What is the flavorful appeal of Okonomiyaki? That is the question we have been asking ourselves since we started this business over 20 years ago. What we have recently noticed is that we too can care about our customers' futures by providing naturally healthy Okonomiyaki which consists of healthy ingredients for a well-balanced diet. We decided to use only domestically produced vegetables. To our customer: deliver Tasty-Healthy please look forward to the new Dohtonbori:)

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: LSS (LAST SONG SYNDROME)

Director: Jade Castro
Cast: Gabbi Garcia , Khalil Ramos , Elijah Canlas , Tuesday Vargas , Aiana Bermudez , Band- Ben&Ben , Bernard Palanca , Quark Henares , Patricia Lasaten , Keifer Cabugao , Toni Muñoz
Plot: In a series of missed connections and virtual song duets, we see the individual lives of Zak and Sara who are MFEO (made for each other), but are seemingly parallel lines, destined to never meet until a major Ben & Ben concert brings' them together for all whirlwind romance:)

My Movie Review: The movie is such a breath of fresh its young and carefree flows natural:0 LSS (Last Song Syndrome) is my first Filipino film to review on since not much Hollywood films available in theaters' due to a Yearly Feast and Celebration of 100th Year of Philippine Cinema! It was welcoming surprise pretty chill actually with music the makes you feel emotions mostly good with the chemistry of the lead and real life couple there's cool vibe and transparent mood! The film showcase what's in the current music scene in the country and the journey of those who aspire to be an artist like Sarah on mainstream and brother Cedie on the rap band scene:) It also shows relationship of a mother and son who treat each other as if some age friend it's like modern family nowadays with a estranged father happened to be sick add bit some drama! I like how they explore Laguna on the latter part with set-up music festival makes me want to go for real with the resort vibe and water flowing, makes me seen new places cool to hangout:)

Movie News: LSS (Last Song Syndrome) is engineered much like a film for those who dream, because that’s exactly the kind of film that it is, and it lovingly knows it. That awareness alone makes it charming, but how it tells its story is even more so! As a music-centric rom-com, it veers away from being conventional. It finds the right beat, and it’s interesting in how it weaves its storyline. It becomes so with how it follows its characters in Gabbi Garcia’s Sarah and Khalil Ramos’ Zack, in which the film makes us feel like we’re right there by their side, getting affected by how their lives pan out. It also helps that, despite having movie-like moments, director Jade Castro stages scenes that feel grounded in our reality as if it’s making us see that the story being told could be anyone’s, and how it comes off as relatable is something to champion. Having that feeling intact, the film then has us empathizing with its leads, and it’s done much effectively because there’s an intimacy to it which brightens the film’s genuine feel:)

TRAVEL TO PLACES: PHILIPPINES-- CORE NIGHT CLUB

My Personal Experience: I went to Tomas Morato Core Night Club this year May 17, 2019, together with my best friend. We went there around 11PM on a Friday in the middle of summer! This is my first night out in a club and it was awesome I finally see things come to life in darker setting like this with groovy beats that makes you wanna dance I definitely enjoy my stay there!

Core Night Club
I am so in love with the lights and red velvet couches inside this club. They offer affordable drinks as well. Aside from that, the restroom is clean too which is nice. But if you're really looking for a type of hardcore party dance all night, this is not the best club for you. From my experience, the ambiance here is pretty chill for drinking and not that crowded. I also didn't like the music which is very outdated like you're partying in early 2000's. But all in all, it's a good place. Crowd gets wild starting at 10PM as it is the time when club goers start to flock in party!!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: ONCE UPON A TIME IN... HOLLYWOOD

Director: Quentin Tarantino
Cast: Leonardo DiCaprio , Brad Pitt , Margot Robbie , Luke Perry , Al Pacino , Damian Lewis , Dakota Fanning , Emile Hirsch ,Timothy Olyphant , Kurt Russell , Margaret Qualley , Mike Moh
Plot: Quentin Tarantino's ninth feature film is a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. Actor Rick Dalton gained fame and fortune by starring in a 1950s television Western, but is now struggling to find meaningful work in a Hollywood that he doesn't recognize anymore. He spends most of his time drinking and palling around with Cliff Booth, his easygoing best friend and longtime stunt double. Rick also happens to live next door to Roman Polanski and Sharon Tate -- the filmmaker and budding actress whose futures will forever be altered by members of the Manson Family.

My Movie Review: The movie is fun ride and least violent venture serves as a passionate love letter to the unsuspecting, carefree energy of the swinging sixties' cinema in Hollywood culture! Quentin Tarantino film work have been bloody and violent contrast with his ninth feature which bubbly light despite being tense as a fading star and his stunt double whose rambling exploits! Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is a lovingly crafted, sun-baked homage to a playful storming Tinseltown fairy-tale with full of stellar performances and Sharon Tate as one of key characters! Leonardo DiCaprio is back big time! he hasn't lost his ability to light up our screens even after four years away from it his portrayal of the TV star Rick Dalton is a hot Oscar favorite already:) Margot Robbie is glowing luminescent to say the least she brings life to character like no one's business what a natural actress perfect for the role with her golden locks that light up the night! Brad Pitt is a bad-ass worth mentioning as his very statuesque stunt double who's impulsively starts a fight with a hotheaded Bruce Lee and his by far the tougher and more of resilient man:)

Movie News: Let’s Talk About the Ending of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood you’ve probably gathered that something is up with the ending. Though critics as urged on by Tarantino himself, have been wary of giving too much away, many of them can’t help but mention that the movie’s final act includes a controversial creative choice that audiences will be talking about all the way home. If you’ve been reading between the lines of the reviews, you’ve likely gathered that the film changes some aspects of the Manson Family murders of August 1969. Tarantino contrasts Leonardo DiCaprio’s Rick Dalton, a washed-up middle-aged actor reduced to playing the villain of the week on TV procedurals, with Margot Robbie’s Sharon Tate, whose youth and growing stardom represents the feeling of infinite possibility. To underline their contrasting trajectories, Dalton happens to live next door to now-infamous Cielo Drive compound where Tate is living with Roman Polanski. There are two likely inferences: Either Dalton and his stuntman Booth foil the murders, thus preserving in amber the film’s lovingly created period fantasy, or they get killed instead, as future belongs to the younger generation. In a film that’s constantly haunted by the ghosts of real-life events, there’s meaning in having Cliff Booth to save the day. For Tarantino, patron saint of underappreciated Hollywood jobbers' its something like poetic justice!
