Plot: Working as a stripper to make ends meet, Destiny's life changes forever when she becomes friends with Ramona -- the club's top money earner. Ramona soon shows Destiny how to finagle her way around the wealthy Wall Street clientele who frequent the club. But when the 2008 economic collapse cuts into their profits, the gals and two other dancers devise a daring scheme to take their lives back.
My Movie Review: The movie is provocative showing strippers in a revealing less of an outfits! Hustlers is a fascinating film you will enter their world and somehow forget about yours even in split second make root for them despite wrong doing hoping everything will be fine until its not:) Jennifer Lopez is a show stopper makes you look even further beyond the story I guess that's star quality shine even taking the back seat and putting the spotlight to someone else you rock! Lili Reinhart is more daring than usual makes my attention caught she has such a surplus of charm to spare, its impossible not be smitten by her and the vomiting scenes so spontaneous:) When the women are having fun, so are we, and for the most part, there’s plenty of it to be had but audience in the cinema I've watch mostly shock with the skin shown and how stars expose! The story might end in a less satisfying way yet that's how reality work nowadays conventional and unpredictable- at least journey going there is awesome with cool club vibe and neon lights!
Critics Consensus: Hustlers is a tremendously entertaining film, but it is also deceptively deep, with singles of wisdom slipped under its glittery g-strings. This is a deeply feminist film, one where men are given less screen time than the cameoing Cardi B and Lizzo. Hustlers is nestled in the higher echelon of Scorsese-esque 'I can't believe this actually happened' stories somewhere between I, Tonya, American Made and American Hustle. An immediate entrant into the pantheon of female friendship movies, Hustlers-a pretty much perfect film-makes plain the hollowness of so many other iterations of girl power in studio projects. You can feel its heart beat. Scafaria's film is always a blast to watch, resulting in a surprising level of emotional depth. As good as Lopez and her onscreen accomplice Constance Wu are, they can't act what isn't in the script; other than a dedicated work ethic, we're never given access to their thoughts! Led by a career-best performance from Jennifer Lopez, Hustlers is a uniquely empowering heist drama with depth and intelligence to match' striking visual appeal she's a reason to see it!
