TRAVEL TO MOVIES: ALL MY FRIENDS ARE DEAD

Director: Jan Belcl
Cast: Julia Wieniawa-Narkiewicz , Mateusz Wieclawek , Monika Krzywkowska , Michal Meyer , Adam G. Turczyk , Adam Woronowicz , Nikodem Rozbicki , Michal Sikorski , Szymon Roszak
Plot: Friends at a New Year's Eve party go through a whirlwind of events that exposes secrets, breaks hearts -- and leads to a shocking outcome.

My Movie Review: The movie is very unexpected took me by surprise the way everyone dies in this whack everything's gone wrong those hilarious candid moments make this a chef's kiss:) All My Friends Are Dead is bold and so fresh breaking the boundaries of a typical teen-thriller no survivors required only one just barely getting by what a killer such savage I like dwell on it:) This one give its audience a different take on the turn of events took place like inspector police point of view seeing this in a different light like a crime scene but what's cool about it we have a inside look in such all-nighter' mood even it involves dying I didn't felt the dark motives just lit! One of the best films which contain humor, thrill, love, sex, pain, hatred, heaven and hell, must watch film to get thrilling experience much better than expected of course it is Polish movie but threads joined nicely so worth your time still serving a violent, raunchy, and complete utter chaos in such entertaining black comedy whirlwind have fun and learn to be mindful on things:)

Movie News: Netflix’s All My Friends Are Dead is a Polish horror-comedy about young idiots who do stupid things that spiral out of control over the course of one fateful New Year’s Eve. It’s stylish, but style alone doesn’t make a movie worth watching; it’s audacious, but audacity alone doesn’t make a movie; it’s raunchy, but raunch alone doesn’t make a movie; it’s gory, but gore alone doesn’t you know. If all these elements come together, then hooray, but if they don’t, well, no time for love, Dr. Jones. Jan. 1. A doofus rookie detective awaits outside a crime scene. All My Friends Are Dead is garish two slogs, a trudge and an eternity-and-a-half leading to a stoopid and loud climactic eruption of blood, flames, bodily fluids and American hair metal. The film features amusing orificial violations, dim homage to The Shining, characters whose action generally approximate that of recognizable human behavior. I describe these elements with as much objectivity as I can muster so you can determine whether the movie successfully hangs or markets itself. Should you stream or skip the Polish horror-comedy? Stream it! 53.7%

TRAVEL TO PLACES: PHILIPPINES-- LITTLE VIGAN

My Personal Experience: I went to Little Vigan in Gapan on Sunday this year October 10, 2021, together with my neighbors and all of their family! We went there to see the fuzz about in capturing the lights along the street and we're please on how we can do much in this lil space:) Tagpuan sa Lumang Gapan is extension of past and heritage as it became super hit this times!

Little Vigan
Little Vigan of Gapan just lies across the street from the Virgen La Divina Pastora Church! These are row of ancestral houses that did not immediately caught my attention back. It was 2017 I just snap photos of the ancestral houses since it wasn’t as extensive as compared with those in Taal and Vigan. Curious of what stories these structures might have seen through the years. I left Pampanga at around 5am in this solo bike trip. It took me 52 kilometers passing by the towns of Sta. Ana, Arayat, Cabiao, San Isidro before reaching Gapan City. There’s a lot of well-preserved ancestral houses all around the country. Built mostly during 1900s by prominent families, the Antillean style house were lasting legacies now of the Spanish rule in the country!!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: BELOW ZERO

Director: Lluís Quílez
Cast: Javier Gutiérrez , Karra Elejalde , Luis Callejo , Patrick Criado , Ángel Solo , Isak Férriz , Andrés Gertrúdix , Miquel Gelabert , Àlex Monner , Édgar Vittorino , Florin Opritescu , Jon Rod
Plot: On a lonely road, a prison transport is brutally assaulted. Martin, the policeman who was driving, survives and fortifies his position while the con men search for a way to finish him. When a prisoner transfer van is attacked, the officer in charge must fight those inside and outside while dealing with a silent foe: the icy temperatures.

My Movie Review: The movie is tense builds a strong sense of foreboding from the beginning as take place almost entirely across the murk stretch of one cold night' unexpected turn ahead! Below Zero is a Spanish Action Thriller that dwells on Martin a National Police Corps officer transferring into a new precinct as his first assignment to drive an armored prisoner transport rig along with his new partner, Montesinos in the observation area in back and each prisoner locked in an individual compartment but things doesn’t take long for this operation to go south:) What makes it great is how straight forward and intense it is for an suspense tale backed with some solid action sequences and engaging even occasionally stumbles with its story it does a brilliant job of keeping you on your toes to come' no matter what twist it rise above the cold:) The journey is quite a ride even the fog of unease clears it will surprise you in the end as pull through one strong punch only for acute violence to surface in its place as Below Zero begins its fearsome and claustrophobic hurtle down a silent road, destined for an unknowable demise!

Critic Reviews: Below Zero flirts with character depth and shocking brutality, but doesn't go all-in on either. The result is dark, pulpy fun that feels like it should get around to pulling off something truly audacious, but never does. Gory but fun thriller has strong violence, language, nudity. Not a bad cross-up of "Con Air" and "Assault on Precinct 13" on paper and director Lluís Quillez generates decent atmosphere on a limited budget. But there's also paucity in the script, which builds to disappointing revelations and limp subtext. Below Zero builds a strong sense of foreboding from the beginning. The film's playing the usual mass-market beats on the way to a relatively perfunctory ending designed not to split opinion; there are bumps on the road along the way, but the film more or less gets where it's going without much fuss. Led by a talented batch of actors that made. Below Zero occasionally stumbles with its story, but it does brilliant job of keeping your heart' on the edge of your seat! This is a highly suspenseful and cerebral thriller, filled with twists, including an unexpected and breathtaking denouement, in its final part!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: THE WHITE TIGER

Director: Ramin Bahrani
Cast: Adarsh Gourav , Rajkummar Rao , Priyanka Chopra Jonas , Vedant Sinha , Aaron Wan , Tilak Raj , Sandeep Singh , Perrie Kapernaros , Nalneesh Neel , Satish Kumar , Mahesh Pillai
Plot: Balram Halwai (Adarsh Gourav) narrates his epic and darkly humorous rise from poor villager to successful entrepreneur in modern India. Cunning and ambitious, our young hero jockeys his way into becoming a driver for Ashok (Rajkummar Rao) and Pinky (Priyanka Chopra-Jonas), who have just returned from America. Society has trained Balram to be one thing a servant so he makes himself indispensable to his rich masters. But after a night of betrayal, he realizes the corrupt lengths they will go to trap him and save themselves. On the verge of losing everything, Balram rebels against a rigged and unequal system to rise up and become a new kind of master. Based on the New York Times bestseller and 2008 Man Booker Prize-winning novel.

My Movie Review: The movie is an upgrade story tell belongs to the class of cinema which is being told by a breed of not-so-Indian story-tellers who seems to understand Indian problems:0 The White Tiger is surprise hit as a common man struggle from rags to riches shock us on how he did it is always a fascinating tale specially when it's related to Indian diaspora where caste inequality is still existing after thousand of years of oppression plus leave a lasting impression:) In his world its dangerous to live and trust someone rather than self its eat or be eaten almost delicious to watch the undeniable wit and guts to do this his character's choices can be difficult to digest, but Adarsh Gourav is great in this smart, socially conscious satire, which realistically blurs the lines between good and evil, I just love angst and clever motive's it entails all through!

Critics Consensus: Well-acted and beautifully made, The White Tiger distills the strengths of its source material into a grimly compelling drama. Frustratingly naive one minute and coldly calculating the next, Gourav manages to make Balram likeable for the duration of the film. If you're looking for a Friday night movie to while away a few lockdown hours - The White Tiger is the perfect choice. Any hope or salvation The White Tiger offers is laced with a drop of arsenic, and there are certainly no Bollywood dance numbers to lift your spirits. Through climactic nod to Naipaul's merciless depiction of underdeveloped India, no matter how fortunate individuals might escape, Bahrani's The White Tiger subverts the standard-issue poverty porno. The White Tiger is a kinetic excursion into darkness with Balram as our charismatic guide. Directed by Iranian-American filmmaker Ramin Bahrani, the film is a breeze despite some tired clichés. It ends up as an insider's take on corruption and caste and class-divides in India... Balram's tale is rich and ruthless enough for both approaches, and for any country built on a premise of one class eating another the impression one get with this is of a film that's too big for its own good:)

TRAVEL TO PLACES: PHILIPPINES-- HAMANDA HOTEL: SOUQ RESTO

My Personal Experience: I went to Hamanda Hotel Souq Resto since I like exploring spaces to the hotel- part of the stay I look forward this year July 13, 2021, together with my neighbors:) Hamanda Hotel: Souq Resto is not a one hit wonder its versatile this place has more to offer than meets the eye as I went there for the first time I didn't notice some parts this still surprise:)

Hamanda Hotel: Souq Resto
The Souq means “marketplace” in Arabic, is indeed a melting pot not just of gastronomic delights but also of ideas and inspiration. Entering the restaurant is like being transported to a traditional souk you’ll see a high ceiling and a hallway that as Souk Madinat in Dubai, is filled with rows of shopping stalls. The Souq also serves as More Than A Chair’s showroom, as the restaurant is furnished with the shop’s pieces which are also for sale. A small garden occupies the rear, with cozy seating spaces for more intimate events. In fact, this space is a hit among couples and has even borne witness to countless wedding proposals as beautiful trellis. At night, small lanterns light illuminate the space, making the garden' look all even more romantic!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: OUTSIDE THE WIRE

Director: Mikael Håfström
Cast: Anthony Mackie , Damson Idris , Michael Kelly , Enzo Cilenti , Kristina Tonteri-Young , Emily Beecham , Henry Garrett , Brady Dowad , Bobby Lockwood , Louis Boyer , Velibor Topic
Plot: In the near future, a drone pilot sent into a war zone finds himself paired up with a top-secret android officer on a mission to stop a nuclear attack.

My Movie Review: The movie is action packed movie with some plot points that you really need to pay attention its worth watching I say yes but only if you like action and war movies:) Outside The Wire isn't perfect by any means, and you probably will not watch it a second time, but it is still worth a watch its civil war has erupted in Europe, the opening text for it as reveals. The new sci-fi action movie is a hit for Netflix, based on the fact it's been in the top 10 most popular releases since its debut that time as only few films come out at the start of this year as Outside the Wire is rated R by the MPAA for its strong violence and language throughout. Violence per say dozens of individuals are shot and many are killed in explosions as one Harp realizes that his experience as a drone pilot, dropping bombs on people in faraway lands from the comfort of base in Nevada, has left him to be completely detached from the reality of war. He see the consequences of violence once he's outside the wire, as the android teaches the man how to be more human based on Outside the Wire in Blue: A True Story of American Cops Downrange in the Wars on Terror tells the unknown stories of U.S. civilian police officers who deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan under the DOD Law Enforcement Professional Program!

Critics Consensus: A serviceable sci-fi diversion, Outside the Wire packs enough action to keep viewers watching -- even if they aren't likely to remember much later. "Outside the Wire" passes the time, and there are worse crimes than being watchable and disposable. Despite strong lead performances and intriguing themes, this rarely rises above being a serviceable action thriller. This film really wants to be smart but it's just a lot of death and destruction. The half-brained drudgery that Håfström's delivers here only leaves you with the regret that this war wasn't more fun to watch. "Outside the Wire" is an efficient, fast-paced rollercoaster ride that's smart and buoyed by a razor-sharp screenplay and two magnetic performances. Has a solid, if underdeveloped concept but manages to hold the audience's attention with the chemistry and performance between its two leads. Any moral ambiguity is eventually waved away in a blatant might-makes-right ending, and it's just another goddamn recruitment film. Anthony Mackie and Damson Idris pull off a pretty decent team-up of soldier and cyborg military action intensity. A disappointingly tidy a conclusion for what had to be the potential to a far more challenging film!!

TRAVEL TO PLACES: PHILIPPINES-- HAMANDA HOTEL: BREAKFAST

My Personal Experience: I went to Hamanda Hotel for Breakfast since I love having breakfast to the hotel's part of the stay I look forward this year July 13, 2021, together with my neighbors! Hamanda Hotel Breakfast is a little bit underwhelming cause you have to be in ungraded room to have options I wish it was buffet set-up rather platted like this a limited prepared food to eat:(

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: PIECES OF A WOMAN

Director: Kornél Mundruczó
Cast: Vanessa Kirby , Shia LaBeouf , Frank Schorpion , Iliza Shlesinger , Steven McCarthy , Benny Safdie , Sarah Snook , Molly Parker , Ellen Burstyn , Tyrone Benskin , Harry Standjofski
Plot: When a young mother's home birth ends in unfathomable tragedy, she begins a year-long odyssey of mourning that fractures relationships with loved ones in this deeply personal story of a woman learning to live alongside her loss.

My Movie Review: The movie is very intense at the start too realistic and emotionally raw ask what's the story about a heartbreaking home birth leaves a woman grappling with the profound emotional fallout, isolated from her partner and family by a chasm of anger, and fueled by grief! Pieces Of A Woman is some up with the difficulties of giving birth and dealing with a traumatic loss in the process the film speaks volume to the hardship of motherhood and being a spouse! Shia LaBeouf is raw as it can be the controversial actor once again prove that his audacity and vulnerability come in handy showing his acting chops and his charisma spark in indie! Vanessa Kirby is flawless she carry the film her intensity and nuances make this worth watching giving the performance of her career enduring a 23-minute long birthing scene at the start of the film! You know sometimes you have to go through the extreme levels of pain to finally seize the one greatest moment of joy someone ever wished only to find that it follows the deepest sorrows never imagined for the rest of your life but what's important is you keep going & never give up:)

Critics Consensus: Pieces Of A Woman struggles to maintain momentum after a stunning opening act, Vanessa Kirby's performance makes end result poignant portrait of grief. Director Kornél Mundruczó doesn't go easy on his actors or on us, making this an ordeal. Its effortful grandiosity transforms it into something hollow and even, at times, risible. Pieces of a Woman is a rather blunted depiction of endlessly complex subject that deserves much contemplation! Despite impressive performances, it fails to truly hit that mark. It's tough to watch, but if you're gonna settle in for it, please pay attention to Vanessa Kirby. She's one to watch. Awards talk aside, it's a bit of a mess. But it does do a decent job of capturing the impulse to blame when joy is supplanted by tragedy and loss. The first act turns on her extended labor a long, sweaty action sequence as breathless as any in The Bourne Identity. It's dense, uncomfortable, but it's very well done loses its through line and suffers by removing the perpetually problematic uber talent that is Shia LaBeouf from it's ending. Pieces of a Woman offers the sort of emotional rollercoaster ride that will leave viewers as distraught as its director's attempt at visual realism:)

TRAVEL TO PLACES: PHILIPPINES-- HAMANDA HOTEL: RESORT HAVEN

My Personal Experience: I went to Hamanda Hotel Resort Haven it was spree of greenery in this section of space I can't help but smize this year July 12, 2021, together with my neighbors! Hamanda Hotel is a hidden oasis as it boast vibrancy as you move along on each corner of its paradise sun-kissed variety of plants during daytime and luminous lighting as the sky turn dark!

But if you just want respite from the busy week, this province that's just a couple of hours away from Manila also offers interesting accommodations that you can book. "I think we rate one of few boutique hotels in Philippines that really focus on design and sustainability with reclaimed materials in such modern, homey way! It has a private resort/villa [vibe] in the middle of the city of San Fernando," owner and Swedish interior and furniture designer Andreas Lundin said in online exchange with SPOT.ph!!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: ASPHALT BURNING

Director: Hallvard Braein
Cast: Anders Baasmo Christiansen , Sven Nordin , Kathrine Thorborg Johansen , Ida Husøy , Henrik Mestad , Otto Jespersen , Björn Kjellman , Peter Kurth , Kostja Ullmann , Ruby O. Fee
Plot: The asphalt is burning, the tires are turning - at a breakneck pace and in tuned cars it goes from Trollstigen mountain road in Norway via Sweden and Denmark to the Nürburgring in Germany - where Roy has to win a race or lose his fiancee Sylvia. A bet that the crazy car enthusiast made on the wedding night after one too many drinks with Roy's challenger Robin who likes the beautiful bride. On the ludicrous and turbulent road trip, Roy not only meets tough adversaries (Henning Baum, The BossHoss) and hot chicks, but soon also the police (Milan Peschel, Peter Kurth) are after him. But that's not all: Roy has to deal with two namesakes (Kostja Ullmann), the import hit Wencke Myhre and a dead corpse in the trunk and then on top of it all suddenly his car is gone. But giving up is not an option for Roy because: "The race isn't over until it's over."

My Movie Review: The movie is bizarre with amazing cars in action next to a gorgeous misty mountain woot visually wondrous thunder is backdrop for bevy of waxed-an-inch-of-their-lives:) Asphalt Burning is somewhat stupid though still very watchable this flick is everything a movie should not be yet it works somehow quirks ideas like Race for the bride? or Drive for love, Roy! The story here is pretty barebones, even without the added context of the previous movies, and revolves around bad-boy racer Roy who’s on the verge of getting married unfortunately he loses a race up the mountain to secure his sweetheart Sylvia and had kissed someone Robyn! When it comes to comedy, outside the fast CGI scenes this movie isn’t particularly amusing! There’s a recurring joke involving different guys called Roy because their all called Roy which fine with me I give it a pass but despite imperfections what I like about it can stood on its own:0

Others Review: It was a decent movie. Great humor, decent storyline and for most gearheads it has some pretty good car scenes that actually makes sense. But, there were many scenes that seemed like they had ran out of money and made it worse. Also the CGI was awful, just awful. For a movie released in 1990, it would be good, but for a 2020 movie... No, just no. All in all, it's a great movie to watch with some friends and have some fun, but not a movie I would choose to watch over and over. A bit hokey some fun things going on in this movie, the main storyline was interesting, and the real car scenes were cool. However, the 'action' shots were too hokey and there were a few weird subplots. Acting was okay. Good cinematography. Just for the picture with the Mustang I gave it a go. The reason is simple I am into muscle cars. And for that reason only you will love this flick. It's full of muscle cars in the beginning. It do add some power cars too. A delight to see them. The movie itself just can't be taken seriously. It tries to be funny in which it fails. For me just watch it for the cars. I haven't had expectations but movie surprised me. It's very cringe and funny scenes are mostly realistic and really filmed!

TRAVEL TO PLACES: PHILIPPINES-- HAMANDA HOTEL: BIRTHDAY ROOM

My Personal Experience: I went to Hamanda Hotel Birthday Room it is the space I celebrate my special day this year July 12, 2021, together with my neighbors! We went there to eat and bond while in our room premise in celebration of my 28th birthday, we put together order foods! Hamanda Hotel is very flexible in terms of room design, you get a different vibe for each room:)

Hamanda Hotel: Birthday Room
Nestled inside the famous Souq Restaurant Compound in Pampanga, our magical rooms are tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city but with a modern, stylish flair. We stayed for 2 nights in the classic room. It's just a quick getaway while still being in the city. Everything was clean and well-kept. The only cons incomplete bath supply and no breakfast option. During our stay, they served the same breakfast. I hope that they fix their meal plan. Design of the room- I can't complain well as the pool area. Good use of ecofriendly materials and resources. Each room design is different, each corner is Instagram worthy, pricing is very reasonable, service is great or it depends. Breakfast by the balcony was memorable' choose a room with the balcony!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: WE CAN BE HEROES

Director: Robert Rodriguez
Cast: YaYa Gosselin , Pedro Pascal , Priyanka Chopra Jonas , Lyon Daniels , Andy Walken , Hala Finley , Lotus Blossom , Dylan Henry Lau , Christian Slater , Boyd Holbrook , Akira Akbar
Plot: When alien invaders kidnap Earth's superheroes, their children must team up and learn to work together if they want to save their parents and the world.

My Movie Review: The movie is a mixed bag you get a good bunch awhile you get bad after taste of tacky and unnecessary plot twist and then great again on how it innovate superheroes! It's poorly made with bad effects, bad plot, and even worse actors somehow this film manages to be even worse it's like they tried to make a superhero version of Spy Kids but with a much worse script and a lot less money for short some effects looks cheap sarcastic and unrealistic:( We Can Be Heroes is one of Robert Rodriguez's strongest entries in his eclectic career might sound a little silly but the film is packed full of imagination and is genuinely accessible to a vast number of people of all ages as it features well-loved childhood characters Sharkboy, Lavagirl:) This superhero flick might be all over the place but the message is pretty strong everyone has limitless potential inside of them, you just need to learn how to embrace your capabilities and learn how to best utilize them as problem may arise in such unpredictable time just be ready! We Can Be Heroes is such a excellent example of- what can be accomplished with teamwork:)

Critics Consensus: Although it may be too zany for adults, We Can Be Heroes balances its sophisticated themes with heart and zealous originality. We need a baby-sitter we can trust while nursing the last of the season's hangovers. Just try and stay out of the room for the excruciatingly sunny cover of David Bowie's Heroes. A sort of sequel to "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl," this film gives kids exactly what they want. Adults? Not so much. I didn't get a migraine, but there are stronger recommendations. Rodriguez's film has a simple nobility to it that does a lot to overcome the slapdash CGI and cheap sets. It's always easier to embrace something when it's made with sincerity and heart. Celebrates our culture, values, and aesthetic while offering hope that these tools can help build a better future. This was clearly made for kids, not critics, and the design and action are vibrant enough to divert them:) Rodriguez is well-versed in superhero tropes for parents who appreciate comic-book satire. I recommend this for kids, no question. Rodriguez' superhero-kid adventure has action & humor!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: YOUR NAME ENGRAVED HEREIN

Director: Kuang-Hui Liu
Cast: Edward Chen , Jing-Hua Tseng , Leon Dai , Shih-Sian Wang , Barry Qu , Stone Yang , Fabio Grangeon , Lance Chiu , David Hao-Chi Chiu , Mimi Shao , Hui-Min Lin , Nien-Hsien Ma
Plot: In 1987, as martial law ends in Taiwan, two schoolboys Jia-han and Birdy fall in love amid family pressure, homophobia and social stigma as they about to enter an illicit love affair after meeting in the school band led by a Canadian priest named Oliver. While the whole country commemorates the late president, the two boys bask in each other's presence as A-han's affection for Birdy is awakened.

My Movie Review: The movie is refreshing such great cinematography, not cringy, realistic, and worthy to watch with every detail capture the actor's emotions such worthy of many praise! Your Name Engraved Herein is just love this my first time watching Taiwanese LGBTQ film and I must admit I was impressed the quality of filming and picturizations beautiful faces, music and slow photography at times covering the landscape and giving face to a unusual longing lovers:) What makes it unique “Your Name Engraved Herein” unlike other stories is its unhappily-ever-after ending, where the main characters don't end up together which can happen in real life! One of them comes out and accepts his sexuality living his truth, while the other buries his true identity, marries a wife and participates in a so-called “normal” lifestyle which is sad but happen to the most people so what we can do is to be kind more open and accepting with this kind of love be progressive on our thinking and by doing that change my come as heart will go fonder!!

Critic Reviews: Though the movie could coast on the appeal of handsome faces and stolen trips to Taipei, Liu gives texture to their pretty pining. Despite these deficiencies, the film is eminently watchable, especially the second half, aided by the attractiveness of the two main protagonists, who construct a believable erotic chemistry. Like the recent Thai Present Perfect films, it feels like love on a micro-scale and not part of something bigger. But unlike its Thai counterpart, it takes itself much more seriously indeed. The result is an intimate story with heartfelt performances and sensual cinematography. Liu's film is heartfelt. He deftly captures the bromance that develops between the two teens. An earnest drama that's absolutely worth celebrating for representation's sake worth a watch. Gentle, sensitively played, and emotionally powerful. It captures life and love at its most intimate. It's the sensitivity that distinguishes (this film), a coming-out story that plays as flow sentimental first-love-you-never-get-over romance:)(
