My Personal Experience: I went to Ximen The Red House this year April 21, 2019, together with my sister. We went there to rest and find comfort since they have plenty toilets inside the building without knowing there's more than meets the eye like boutique stores, clothing brands and artistic crafts after a fun yet exhausting walk in the city this place bring calm and cozy vibe!
Ximen The Red House
A historical site is no longer just a building existed in the history of time. It’s witnessing generations shifting from one to another. Ximen Red House was constructed in 1908 and was the first common folks’ market and recreational site built then. A hundred years has passed by and now it’s not only one of the most important cultural tourist attractions in Ximen district but also a historical evolution epitome of Taipei Ximen business district. The Red House consists of Octagonal Display Hall as the grand entrance for people visiting from all around the world, characteristic Cruciform Building as main construction and adjacent South and North squares:)
