My Movie Review: The movie is a dark psychological thriller that show a new kind of crazy and high level of insanity that exactly what we all need its a interesting creep that fun to follow:) The Occupant (Hogar) is a domestic drama at first, by the conclusion it's a tense spellbinding thriller that creates unsettling ride to the viewer, often testing the lead to go out on a insane difficult situation and somehow he pull through sometimes you can't believe the lie's being true! The transition is very careful as it builds rapport it's fascinating to watch as it unfolds freak you out a little when in times the movie pushes the boundaries with major shifts in its perspectives:) Mario Casas is making a name in Netflix as most of his European Spanish films are streaming on the platform service and most of them are compelling thrillers that give me chills redefining Netflix & Chill like this film it very well manage to keep all of its mysteries intact as so intriguing! If you like stalker films and enjoy slow-burn plot focused on it's characters then check this out:0

Critics Consensus: Àlex Pastor and David Pastor deliver a very entertaining and twisted thriller. Writing from the confinement of a global pandemic gives The Occupant a strange atmosphere of unease. With an excellent cast led by Javier Gutiérrez, the Pastor Brothers have returned to feature films with serious conviction. Hogar could have been a most stimulating and twisted thriller but it ends up being an entertaining one, with a fluid rhythm and excellent work from its lead. Which is not nothing, but it leaves you wishing for more. Admit it, we all miss Joe Goldberg. He was psychotic and crazy but You on Netflix was our safe haven and miss it dearly. The You shaped hole in our hearts can now finally be filled, as Netflix has just released The Occupant. Enter the new Joe Goldberg: This time not a creepy bookstore worker but an obsessive advertising executive called Javier Munoz. Once successful in his job, but it all starts to crumble around him. He is forced to sell his family’s apartment when he can no longer afford it. He still has a set of keys and and decides to stalk the new residents. He becomes obsessed getting what he still sees as his home back and getting its old life back too!
