Director: Marçal Forés
Cast: Clara Galle , Julio Peña , Hugo Arbues , Eric Masip , Pilar Castro , Abel Folk , Guillermo Lasheras , Natalia Azahara , Rachel Lascar , Emilia Lazo , Lucía de la Puerta , Sean Burgos e)
Plot: Raquel has a longtime crush on her hot neighbor, Ares, whom she secretly watches but has never spoken to. Can she make Ares fall in love with her?

My Movie Review: The movie is about Raquel who is madly and irrevocably in love with Ares, her attractive and mysterious neighbour through the window, the thing is she has watched him from afar because much to her dismay, they haven't exchanged a single word but Raquel has a very clear mission: to make Ares fall in love with her- however: she is not an innocent, helpless girl and is certainly not prepared to lose any to achieve a goal importantly not herself:) The onscreen chemistry between Raquel and Ares is magic, I definitely ship them, don't listen to the critics they got it wrong this is a great movie nonetheless, I was beyond thrilled when Ares revealed he deliberately broke his Wi-Fi so he can get to talk to Raquel, she thought he didn't notice her, but he did. The description of this movie doesn't do it justice, it's way more than that. I underestimated this movie at first and regret not watching it sooner. I await the sequel and am super excited about it. I loved the storyline and the cast are all excellent. The outfit/ costumes were just so in-sync with the story. This is so worth re-watching and exploring:) Yes its somewhat based on true story: the premise for the original book came from Godoy's own experiences. As she told “In college, I had a neighbor that I was kind of 'sharing' my Wi-Fi with I had a huge crush on him, it didn't end well but that inspired for the beginning of the story!

Critics Reviews: There is a certain laziness in its technical realization; everything is built around a soundtrack of pop songs that contribute nothing to a narrative framework that is flat, empty and banal, devoid of subtlety and ambiguity. The film is better than the book, but outside of a weirdly incestuous sex scene and a hilariously melodramatic climax, it's surprisingly snoozy and the leads have no chemistry. Empty erotica parading as young love. It's not the fault of the actors, a young and sufficiently charismatic cast, but Through My Window feels at once derivative and disappointing. Through My Window sucks in the way teenagers generally suck, since they haven’t figured out diddly-squat and are self-obsessed, inarticulate in the ways of the heart and mired in banal angst. This story is just unhealthy, portraying a toxic relationship as the normal simply because the boy is attractive, with sex always present and provide the necessary steps to continue the story! While watching this, I thought that it was very Wattpad-like, and holy cow, this movie is based on a book series that was originally on Wattpad. The acting is questionable, the pacing is very awkward and the horrible dialogue is just a cherry on top. Even most serious scenes end up being laughable. The script somehow generic and flawed that it's hard to buy that any of the melodramatic is in-your-face sequences!
