My Personal Experience: I went to Grand Cathay last May 13, 2011, together with my brother and sister. We rode train going to Dhoby Ghaut MRT, stop at Plaza Singapura and went to The Cathay. We ate biscuits, burgers, fries and ice cream at Popeye's and have pictures taken to the movie posters before we watching the movie at The Grand Cathay!!!

The Grand Cathay is about 1.5 times bigger than the usual cinema halls, which can seat up to 590 people at one time. Even if you are sitting at the lower block, you would not have to worry about straining your neck while watching the movie; the view is just good.
