My Personal Experience: I went to Bangtao Beach last April 30, 2011, together with my whole family. We went there to see the view on our last day in Thailand. It is the first beach I seen the sand is light brown and the water match the color of the sky. We also visited Dusit Thani Laguna, Outrigger Resorts & Villas and river tour around Canal Village.

Bangtao is a study in contrasts, with the luxurious resorts and villas along its six km stretch of beach just a few minutes' away from the town of Cherng Talay, where many villagers make their living as their ancestors did by fishing, farming and rubber tapping.
