TRAVEL TO PLACES: PHILIPPINES-- CARTEL COFFEE DELI

My Personal Experience: I went to Cartel Coffee Deli Salcedo this year January 27, 2020, together with my sister. We went to see fresh produce since it's it's located at the ground floor of Picasso Boutique Residences where we stay for the weekend. I have to say Cartel is slowly becoming a hangout for nearby office-dwellers and grab-and-go stop for residents in this place!

Cartel Coffee Deli
It’s not the Cartel you think it is. “Everyone’s thinking of, you know, drugs…especially after Narcos, right?” co-owner David Collado recalls with a smile. But in Spanish, David’s mother tongue, a cartel refers to the lineup of bullfighters. If you look closely at Cartel Coffee and Deli’s logo, you’ll notice bull horns sitting atop the name, a subtle callback to the concept. The original plan was to build Pablo as a restaurant with a deli, but space not available. Around a year ago, location beside Pablo opened up, and the deli concept finally came to life. The result was a one stop shop that offers deli goods, pastries, coffee, salads, sandwiches and lots wine:)

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: AN EASY GIRL

Director: Rebecca Zlotowski
Cast: Mina Farid , Zahia Dehar , Benoît Magimel , Nuno Lopes , Clotilde Courau , Lise Lomi , Loubna Abidar , Lakdhar Dridi , Henri-Noël Tabary , Cédric Appietto , Kate Moran , Julie Allione
Plot: A girl's life is turned upside-down when her seductive older cousin joins her for the summer. Naima is 16 and lives in Cannes. She has given herself the summer to choose what she wants to do with her life. Then her cousin Sofia, with her alluring lifestyle, arrives to spend the holidays with her.

My Movie Review: The movie is coming-of-age film that luxuriates in the lazy summer sun of Southern Europe and as it goes on we like the sense of danger it pull losing self in temptation)( An Easy Girl is such a rare outing as the message of the film matched a stunning visual that's quite insightful and smart love how the airiness breath flows beautiful and effortlessly exquisite! Zahia Dehar is a fantasy most men will desire the blond bombshell has alluring effect you can't explain she make this sun-kissed place hot like the beach scene few guys saw her its teasing:) Some audiences might be shock cause this portrait boasts ample skin and explicit steam but unlike such tacky streaming hits as 365 Days and Milf this prove to be intelligent essential film!! Mina Farid who has been mostly watching and listening is about to experience a life changing summer time for her to become an adult as Sofia turns Naima's world from everyday reality to the world of luxury where everything seems possible there's something endearing here it show!

Critic Reviews: Exquisite filmmaking which brings the Nouvelle Vague into the 21st century! Sultry, but never sleazy, observant yet nonjudgmental, "An Easy Girl" is more than just a tale of innocence and experience. From this simple premise, Zlotowski develops a complex array of dramatic subtleties and psychological nuances and, with poised yet urgent images that stay close to Naïma, evokes her conflicting impulses and shifting ideas. A relaxed, warmly sensual coming-of-age drama so steeped in ripe South of France flavor - sun, sea, lots of skin and a bit of bling - that you practically want to eat it by the spoonful. Sofia isn't as simple as she looks, and Naima learns a lot about the performative aspects of femininity in this unique coming-of-age tale. A work of great sumptuousness and visual sophistication. There's nothing easy about it at all. This typically Gallic coming-of-age drama courts sensation... but its deceptively subtle handling of sex and class turn out to be psychologically nuanced, insightful, airly and beguiling!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: WORK IT

Director: Laura Terruso
Cast: Sabrina Carpenter , Jordan Fisher , Liza Koshy , Keiynan Lonsdale , Drew Ray Tanner , Michelle Buteau , Naomi Snieckus , Briana Andrade-Gomes , Kalliane Brémault , Alyssa Trask
Plot: When Quinn Ackerman's (Sabrina Carpenter) admission to the college of her dreams depends on her performance at a dance competition, she forms a ragtag group of dancers to take on the best squad in school... now she just needs to learn how to dance. A teen achieves near-perfection by sheer hard work. She vows to transform her gawkiness through dance, and refine her skills until she competes at a competition.

My Movie Review: The movie is free spirited dance teen flick that just flows on a right rhythm:) Work It is so good it feels awesome seeing it refreshingly likable high school movie that follows a formula but hits just the right notes nonetheless also' that it pays homage to the dance genre! Sabrina Carpenter light up the room every time she moves so cute as she plays a straight-A high student who scrambles to become a hip-hop group dancer to pass her college application! It opens right in the middle of the action, at a hyper-kinetic dance showcase as we got to see Keiynan Lonsdale for the first time embrace his sexuality on screen he make sure you see him in the spotlight as he dance his way to the center stage with such poise and extra movements:) Jordan Fisher is smooth he might not be visible on the first parts but sure deliver on the latter part other standout includes Liza Koshy who's goofy, soft of fun to hang around plus great dancer with dreams of going to the New York Dance Academy and Drew Ray Tanner whose a total knockout dude with such small role he manage to charm and someones apple of the eye:)

Critic Reviews: There's an easy sleepover movie charm to Netflix comedy Work It, a charm that's proved harder to find in their many other teen offerings of late. As a dance movie, Work It moves just fine. Both Koshy and Fisher are accomplished professional dancers, and the movie doesn't skimp on showcasing their gifts. There's little in the way of originality in "Work It," but there's a fresh, upbeat, infectious vibe to the silliness, thanks in large part to the talented and likable cast of young actors. Will dance change Quinn's wardrobe and her still blossoming soul? "Work It" leaves little room to wonder but a few occasions to sit back and smile at the transformation. Sabrina Carpenter, Liza Koshy and Jordan Fisher give excellent performances in this movie about dance, passion and following your heart. Work It is an infectiously fun and heartwarming coming-of-age story with a variety of excellently choreograph dance sequences and strong chemistry amongst its cast. 'Work It' boasts a passion for dance plus a touch of teenage romance. It ends up as a fun dance flick great dancing standout here its winning trick:)

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: THE HATER

Director: Jan Komasa
Cast: Maciej Musialowski , Vanessa Aleksander , Danuta Stenka , Jacek Koman , Iga Krefft , Agata Kulesza , Maciej Stuhr , Adam Gradowski , Piotr Biedron , Wiktoria Filus , Piotr Cyrwus
Plot: A duplicitous young man finds success in the dark world of social media smear tactics - but his virtual vitriol soon has violent real-life consequences. This young man searches for purpose in a net of hatred and violence that he tries to control.

My Movie Review: The movie is a fine dark thriller about an expelled university student from Warsaw who attempt's to steer the internet, causing widespread of anger, hatred and violence!! The Hater is disturbingly brilliant with its social relevance whilst fictional, the film does relate to ongoing real-life situations such as the use of social media to psychologically manipulate users and navigate public opinion through fake news most effective in detailing how disinformation campaigns work reveals horrors about our world that are sadly happening in a instant second:( Maciej Musialowski is looking mysteriously good with a face that's polarizing and dismissive this role fits him perfectly so well he has given a star making performance as Tomasz Giemza. For the viewers to understand his motives and even to sympathize to him due to pressures on youth in today's climate is an astounding feat of its own this actor could become a bigger star:0

Critic Reviews: There's an ambitious drive to The Hater that keeps it humming through its long running time. It could not be more relevant on a couple of different levels... [And] it is so suspenseful. An amazing and terrifying tale of cause and effect in the digital age. Often, The Hater plays like something Krzysztof Kieslowski might have made had he been desperate to get work in Hollywood.  [Maciej Musialowski] is a wonderful actor. He has a way of contorting his face. He tells the story behind his eyes. For all its flaws, inconsistencies and credulity-stretching contrivances, I was mostly engross with The Hater from beginning to end. Relevant but very dark, violent, and disturbing drama. Although it is true that the plot is somewhat schematic, director Jan Komasa... lets it rise like dough. While the style is admirable and the ideas relevant to our present day, the lack of perspective for its central character prevents it from being great. The Hater is evidently promising effectively disturbing enough to recommend!

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: THE KISSING BOOTH 2

Director: Vince Marcello
Cast: Joey King , Joel Courtney , Jacob Elordi , Maisie Richardson-Sellers , Molly Ringwald , Taylor Zakhar Perez , Meganne Young , Stephen Jennings , Sanda Shandu , Camilla Wolfson
Plot: Elle Evans (Joey King) just had the most romantic summer of her life with her reformed bad-boy boyfriend Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi). But now Noah is off to Harvard, and Elle heads back to high school for her senior year. She'll have to juggle a long-distance relationship, getting into her dream college with her best friend Lee (Joel Courtney), and the complications brought on by a close friendship with a handsome, charismatic new classmate named Marco (Taylor Perez). When Noah grows close to a seemingly-perfect college girl (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), Elle will have to decide how much she trusts him and to whom her heart truly belongs. Director and screenwriter Vince Marcello returns for The Kissing Booth sequel, based on characters from Beth Reekles' 2012 young adult book.

My Movie Review: The movie is hot in a minute it was trending in quite some time last month:) It was a hit in Rotten Tomatoes last time I check now it's rotten at first I think it's over hyped but after watching this sequel I think it's better than the first one and shows growth even a little bit:) The Kissing Booth 2 is more compact with scenes that are irresistible and give the feels even fast track shots are good nice editing go places make story more effective and worth watching!! Joey King owns this role I can't believe this awkward child star blossom into a likable teenager now she's queen in her generation and the best thing about this cheesy goodie teen romance:) I think love is sweeter the second time a round in this case its true when you get to verify their relationship when there's new temptation and hurdles to overcome come out strong together in end like the airport chasing scene you run for your love and it will lead you to the kissing booth!

Critics Consensus: Joey King makes The Kissing Booth 2 better than it could have been, but this slapdash sequel will leave viewers puckering up for all the wrong reasons. You can soak in the movie's basic premise and overacting just as long as you know this pool's shallow. If The Kissing Booth 2 is watchable and good, viewers have Elle to thank; King remains the strongest component of a now-franchise that, quite frankly, might be beneath her. Perez is marginally more charismatic than Elordi... But neither are as compelling as the question of why Elle's high school is full of teenage boys who look like adult Marvel superheroes. The one saving grace is King, genuinely delightful young actor who manages to hold your attention and empathy even if her underwritten character barely deserves it. If you go with lower expectations understand this is just a teenage love story, you might actually find lot to like- enjoy more-The Kissing Booth 2:)
