TRAVEL TO MOVIES: THE FINEST HOURS

Director: Craig Gillespie
Cast: Chris Pine , Casey Affleck , Ben Foster , Eric Bana , Holiday Grainger , John Ortiz
Plot: Based on a true event in 1952. When one of the worst storms hits the East Coast of New England, an oil tanker off the coast of Cape Cod is damaged and ripped in half. Faced with freezing cold temperature and 70-foot high waves, four members of the Coast Guard take a small boat and set out on a mission to rescue more than 30 stranded sailors that are trapped aboard the rapidly-sinking vessel.

My Movie Review: The movie is floating against all odds the effects were good to see in big screen. Huge waves passed through towards the rescue team but didn't stop them to be heroes of the story that was nearly impossible to be true but brings a lot of aspirations. The Finest Hours really gave me something good that old Hollywood vibe were films have high quality, slow pace living the moment and focuses more on the characters of the story.
My Favorite Lines: "That man in there don't know what he's doing. He's sending you out to die." "In the Coast Guard they say you go out. They don't say you gotta come back in." "You know they're saying it's going to be the biggest storm to hit the east coast." "It's going to be hurricane strength in an hour." "We've got two, three hours and then we sink." Station Chatham do you copy? Condition's hazardous. We've got an 18-foot fracture in our hull. How do you want us to proceed? Over" "That's why I sign up. Now's my chance."
