TRAVEL TO MOVIES: MISS PEREGRINE 'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN

Director: Tim Burton
Cast: Asa Butterfield , Eva Green , Allison Janney , Ella Purnell , Samuel L. Jackson , Chris O'Dowd , Judi Dench , Rupert Everett , Cameron King , Terence Stamp
Plot: Teenager Jacob follows a trail of clues that leads him to a mysterious island, where he discovers a rundown Miss Peregrine's School for Peculiar Children. As he discovers a group of peculiar orphan children and must protect them from creatures out to harm them.

My Movie Review: The movie is twisted you can expect everything is possible when you enter the world of Tim Burton. The crazies messy weird ideas were the director's specialty this time with invisible monsters that eat eyeballs and children with unique special powers. The things I don't like were the time loops that felt blah and Miss Peregrine that supposed to protect the children instead transform to a bird and abandon them in the big ship at the sea. It started with a promise then in the middle the adventure to a new world unfolds but falls apart in the back end the only keeping it exciting is Jake what will be his journey next.
My Favorite Character: Jacob Portman (Jake)

Jacob Portman is the main protagonist in the novel Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children. He is the son of Maryann and Franklin Portman and the grandson of Abraham Portman. It was revealed in that like his grandfather Jacob has the ability to see hollows unlike other peculiar children who could only see the shadows. It was reveal in the ending of Hollow City Jacob was able to talk to and control hollows and starts to develop it at Library of Souls. He also has the ability to see the soul jars.
