TRAVEL TO MOVIES: DOWNSIZING

Director: Alexander Payne
Cast: Matt Damon , Kristen Wiig , Christoph Waltz , Jason Sudeikis , Hong Chau , Udo Kier , Alec Baldwin , Maribeth Monroe , Neil Patrick Harris , Laura Dern , Niecy Nash , Pepe Serna
Plot: This social satire is about a man and his wife who realise that their lives would be better if they were smaller. They decide to get voluntarily shrunk. Unfortunately for the man, his wife backs out at the last minute. Now, he alone joins one of the many communities of small people that have popped up around the world.

My Movie Review: The movie is weird in a good way stretch your mind to consider possibility and break out of the ordinary to the point you caught yourself enjoying and wanting more. Downsizing is science fiction satire that tackles big ideas to human survival in small packages:) The film take us to different adventures and leap of faith on what's gonna happen next whether some parts are boring afterwards interesting never fails to surprise us but felt short in the end:( Matt Damon is never afraid to look ugly or bold can't help to admire his commitment to the role. Christoph Waltz is pleasure to sight didn't saw his fun side and charismatic attributes until now!
My Favorite Lines: "In Leisureland, your $100,000 translates to $12.5 million to live on for life. Do you understand that will undergo the permanent and irreversible medical procedure commonly known as downsizing, and that your bodies will be approximately .0364% of their current mass and volume? Nervous? A little I’ll see you on the other side. I love you." "The cause of all the catastrophes we are seeing today is overpopulation. We are proud to unveil the only practical remedy to humanity’s greatest problem. Are you ready, doctor? Yes I am. Wow, that is wild, isn’t it? That’s just wild!" "Get up and open your eyes. This small world is filled with things to see." "I know this will put a pretty big dent in anyone’s self-esteem, but downsizing is about hitting a reset button, start all over." "Downsizing is about saving yourself."
