TRAVEL TO MOVIES: PAPILLON

Director: Michael Noer
Cast: Charlie Hunnam , Rami Malek , Eve Hewson , Tommy Flanagan , Christopher Fairbank , Roland Møller , Nina Seničar , Michael Socha , Brian Vernel , Joel Basman , Fernanda Dinizia
Plot: Based on the best-selling autobiography of same name, the story follows Henri "Papillon" Charriere, a safecracker from the Parisian underworld. He is condemned to life in a South American prison after getting framed for murder. To regain freedom, he forms an alliance with counterfeiter to Louis Dega, who agrees to finance Papillon escape in exchange for protection!

My Movie Review: The movie is trying big to escape but got stuck in a routine prison direction! Papillon is pretty handsome at first sight as captured in the middle of the night caught the era of Moulin Rouge Cabarinet where glamour and style was showcase with a little bit chaos and romance there's harmony but the justice got twisted as a man was wrongly accused of murder! From then on it's all about prison time how it's tough to live in a facility with other men where you have to lookout for yourself and the person your ticket to way out or someone will cut you:( As the days go by you find friends or partner to execute the plan and as they were escaping it was a thrill to watch hoping that they will not be caught until they found boat in vast to the sea:) You got a sense of freedom but the force of nature turns on you making one of them eager to lose the dead weight forcing them to fight each other I think they made it when found by a tribe but I was wrong they were caught again in face of solidarity when most got insane break loose! Devil's Island for both of them this time were you can escape but the ocean will swallow you but they didn't give up make a flowing alternative to cross the ocean and it paid off one survive!

My Conclusion: Chalie Hunnam and Rami Malek did an awesome job here this fine actors take few bruise on they got to show an incredible tale of friendship and undying fighting spirit:) The one who stayed in the island take a noble act as he chose his friend's freedom over his thinking if they two went the ocean they may not make cause the float can easily take just one! That's what I think I may not agree with his decision but I salute him for doing so on the other hand the survival was bitter because they did not show the sweetness of the victory instead it take a leap off on fate and show someone that old trying to document the moments by writing:( Despite critics questioning why did they made a remake of this beloved 1973 classic because our generation deserve to see a inspirational story like this we have nothing to compare so I'll take chances with its faithful retelling as a pair of jail birds in this prison drama were captured in a time survival is tough earn we can learn strategies, test of friendship and value of freedom!
