TRAVEL TO MOVIES: ALLIED

Director: Robert Zemeckis
Cast: Brad Pitt , Marion Cotillard , Jared Harris , Matthew Goode , Lizzy Caplan
Plot: Set in 1942 during World War II in Casablanca, French-Canadian spy Max Vatan falls in love and marries French agent Marianne Beausejour, but he is then notified that his wife might be a Nazi spy.

My Movie Review: The movie is tasteful brings back the old Hollywood feels and glamour. Allied is a slow-paced romance thriller that captures the beauty of 1942 French Morrocco with top notch production values and gorgeous cinematography. Brad Pitt never gets old his still the handsome charismatic character you'll like to see that gives solid performance. Marion Cotillard intensify each scenes with her facial expression and she control the story. Too bad it was cut short never gets out long enough but should have been great for more.
My Favorite Character: Marianne Beauséjour

Marianne Beausejour, a Resistance fighter played by Marion Cotillard. The story is rich in details but simple enough: Max and Marianne have been paired up, sight unseen, to pose as a couple in Casablanca and assassinate the German ambassador. Marianne sits at a table with a silk jacket and an hummingbird draped over her chair. Max's long look and Marianne's dazzling smile tell us they're already in love. We are rooting for them every step of the way in "Allied," Robert Zemeckis' grand salute to the classic films of the 1940's.
