TRAVEL TO MOVIES: THE GIVER

Director: Phillip Noyce
Cast: Brenton Thwaites , Odeya Rush , Meryl Streep , Jeff Bridges , Katie Holmes , Alexander Skarsgard , Taylor Swift
Plot: Based on the 1993 novel of same name by Lois Lowry, in a perfect world where there is no conflict, racism or sickness, every member of society has a specific role, and 16-year-old Jonas is selected to be the Receiver of Memories. As Jonas uncovers the truth behind his world's past, he discovers that many years earlier his forefathers gave up humanity in order to have a stable society.

My Movie Review: The movie is quite captivating, brings a world full of black and white back into life. It has some similarities with Divergent from the gathering of people on a stadium and to its plot every member of society has a specific role. Brenton Thwaites and Odeya Rush fresh faces on the big screen, not bad just cut short In the end. The title of the movie for me is not right because it focuses more on The Receiver of their memories.
My Favorite Lines: "Everything is connected, Everything is balance, Where there is good, there is bad." "Memories are not just about the past, they determine our future." "Just like music, there's something can't see with your eyes inside you." "Faith is seeing beyond."
