Director: Wes Ball
Cast: Dylan O'Brien , Ki Hong Lee , Thomas Brodie-Sangster , Kaya Scodelario , Patricia Clarkson , Aidan Gillen , Barry Pepper , Giancarlo Esposito , Nathalie Emmanuel
Plot: After Thomas and the remaining Gladers make it out of The Maze in "The Maze Runner", the group find themselves faced with the unknown outside world that's ravaged by solar flares and disease. With their new setting that makes The Maze look like an oasis, the Gladers find themselves faced with a new mission ahead of them: make it through the vicious city towards the 'safe haven' that's 100 miles away or perish.
My Movie Review: The movie is spectacular giving us something to look forward scene after scene. No questions asks this will be a blockbuster hit tapping young adult audience who seek out adventures that thrills and excite! The phenomenon of young adult book series is making waves at the box office and can't see falling down sooner it's a trend that hard to break. Once you're hook you can't get out making your want more year after year.
My Favorite Character: Thomas
He is the main protagonist of series. In The Scorch Trials, Thomas and the other Gladers are rescued and brought to a safe dormitory, only to find out that it was all a hoax. Phase 2 of the Trials begins as 'The Rat Man' from Wicked tells them they have two weeks to travel 100 miles of wasteland, order to reach a safe haven and given a cure for the Flare.
